  • "Walk fast through the puerto rican neigborhoods" LOL!

  • That's right, there's no better time to start brainwashing someone than when they're a young child.

  • Arch doesn't even go to church himself.. lol! Let kids pick their own religion.

  • please don't feed the trolls--they bite.

...we now return you to All In The Family (something WORTH listening to)! :D

  • yeah if you wanna look like a traffic light

  • happy holidays everyone

  • @nuckinfuts32330 Hey nuckinfuts! Big All in the Family fan. But my hubby used to have a bumper sticker that said "I'm Going NuckinFuts!" I love it!!!

  • Well, I actually agree with you Eurasianchicka. And I am not saying it should be one thing or another......it just should be something wholesome.

John Walker Lynn's parents took the hands-off approach....told young Johnny, "go choose whatever you want to, young fellow". Well, he did. And now he has to spend 20 years in prison.

  • @greatriffs1000 Obviously they should have laid a bit more of a foundation, before telling him that.

  • @greatriffs1000 Look what GW Bush's parent raised, and what he did to the world :(

  • @BlameRepublicans What in the hell! How do you equate GWB to All in the Family! But then again I guess I shouldn't ignore your ignorant screen name! What with our country in such good shape after three years of the little atheist/pseudo-intellectual/Marxists/pig Barry running our country. I guess Archie has always been right about the Reds of this country. Too stupid to breed correctly!

  • @IruleOverProgressive I am a communist, and I love this show.

Obama is not a communist, he's a puppet.

  • It's tv!

  • No one can force a child to be believe in God, but it is the right thing to do to guide him in the right direction. I wish that my parents had done that for me. Finding God earlier would have helped me through all the hard times and away from the bad choices I made.

People get mad about this kind of issue, so I'm not going to answer any angry replies...

  • @eurasianchica The greater issue is having a support system. My friends have been much more reliable than any religious group I've encountered (and if you're wondering, not one of them is a practicing Christian).

  • @BoredomCorner I'm glad that you have such a great set of friends, but it isn't the religious group that gives you support, it's faith in God. Unlike any human, God won't leave or die. I think this is why people in rich countries have a harder time believing in God, because everything is so permanent for them. Their house is always safe, people won't die unexpectedly. But for the less fortunate, nothing is assured except for God. Just IMO, though.

  • @DaBearsRockMySox

Nobody should have to respect any beliefs that they don't agree with. It's the believers who are always crapping on others for not following their dogma.

  • dont look edith HAHAH

  • Mike: "You didn't have to get dressed up Arch"

Archie: "Yes I did, she forced me"

    LOL

  • @HateGabe3232

    Typical Archie response!

  • Thank you soo much for putting these up, I love you!

  • You don't have to be Atheist, to be patriotic.

  • i just put the aqua velva on don't go lickin it off lol

  • Also:

"Children oughta go to Church when they're young 'cause when they're older they're havin' too much fun to be religious."

XD THAT! IS! HILARIOUS! Wow...I'm 20 years old, mind you, so I've discovered the show through the magic of YouTube--and the Nostalgia Critic--but that's just so hilarious and actually kind of true...

  • You can't prove God, and the fundamentalists and Jesus Camp crowd need to stop trying to, and youn't disprove God and the Dawkins-ites need to stop trying to.

One infuriates the other with its idiocy, and its a vicious circle that catches up the middle ground--which is the majority--and just causes a lot of unecessary strife in a word that has too much of it already.

If you want to believe in God, fine, and if you don't fine--just let your fellow man make the same choice, I say! :)

  • This is the first All in the Family episode that I watch, and I totally came across this stuff by accident...I'm only 19, and this is great! it really made me laugh! what the hec is up with modern tv sitcoms???

  • I miss this show!

  • @DaBearsRockMySox This show was dealing with an ignorant bigoted moron like Archie intent on indoctrinating the Stivic's child with his beliefs. The episode did it in a humorous way, but Mike Stivic was clearly an atheist and had every right to try and raise his kid with an open mind and have Archie refrain from shoving 'his' beliefs down the throat of his newborn. This does not equate to crapping on other's beliefs, more like -keep your religion to yourself!

  • it would be so cool if archie was still alvie and they did a reuion now with obama as president now it would be so funny XD

  • @sniper16 lmao u got that right haha

  • only thing wrong with this is mike being Polish and a atheist is not really real most polish people are religious

  • @SoccerBalbus Most certainly does not mean all. Also, Mike may be Polish, but he was raised in the U.S. There is nothing unrealistic about creating a Polish atheist character.

  • @anscibecca86 um its a little far fetched thats all,

  • DONT LOOK EDITH

  • Edith: you aren't just saying that to make me feel good.....

Archie: no, I wouldn't say nothin' to make you feel good.

    LMFAO! hahahahaha

  • my mom forces me to wear nice things on turkey day lol :P but i love it though lol

  • Archie "don't know nuttin' about colors"???...could've fooled me..LOL

  • Classic Archie!

  • my mom makes me wear nice clothes for thanksgiving, ugh, it takes me an hour to get dressed

  • I love you Edith.

  • The one thing I don't get about some people is all the faults that are pointed out about Christians. Yes Christians do many bad things. Yes there are some religions that have had many scams involved with them. But you mean to tell me that atheists don't? Both Mike and Archie were stubborn in their beliefs. Edith was respectful of the Mike/Gloria's wishes. Just as some Chrsitians are in people's faces about their beliefs so are many atheists. Neither side is perfect.

  • so they moved?

  • Jesus--a gruesome savior to behold!!

Stained-glass straw man, with a cross of gold...

    -- R. Bautz

  • @TheBibleIsLame funny someone would make a name the Bible is lame obviously God is real and the BIble is truth for someone to even make a name like that.

  • @Jiballin

    Not quite.

  • the Pagans had it right

  • whats sad is that gloria seems like shhe would have raised joey christian but mikes political/religios views overshadowed her beliefs. instead mike should ahve been open to both.

  • "I was hopin you'd pick the black and white dress."

"Allright, allright, goin away, you'll look like the back end of a zebra, but wear the black and white dress." HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!

  • "I don't believe what's happenin' here!" lmao

  • I think kids should grow up picking their own religion, its a good thing to give them their own freedom like that.

  • @MelodiesForever sorry not a good idea, That's the reason our country and world is the way it is. Parents don't raise their kids in the truth of Jesus Christ, Which is the only thing that can give them stability in life.

You'll end up with kids living for everything but Jesus Christ.

Proverbs 22:6 Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it.

  • @Jiballin People kill and do very stupid things in the light of Jesus Christ.

I'm not saying anything is wrong with being christian, I respect everybody for their beliefs. And I would give my children the option to do whatever religion they believe in.

Because at the end of the day, if your heart isn't in it, its nothing. I was raised as a christian, and my heart just wasn't ever truly into it. So it did nothing for me.

Relgion is finding yourself through it, and I didnt find myself.

  • @MelodiesForever no you were just dfeceived away from it. your right if its never in your heart it doesnt matter. but without Jesus Christ you have nothing, without Jesus Christ a person will go to Hell.

  • @MelodiesForever THATS TRUE EVERYTIME YOU LOOK RELIGON ALL YOU SEE IS PPL DOING HORRIBLE THINGS....IN THE NAME OF IT

  • Edith should be allowed to take Joey to church with her. Doing so is not forcing her beliefs on her grandchild. Once again, Mike is way too far out there.

  • I love Gloria's dress in this episode. Sally Struthers was just lovely in this series...

  • did you catch"inferior decorator"?

  • My parents never made me go to church or read the bible. They weren't atheists but they thought organized religion was just a big scam. The RCC proved them correct. Today I'm an atheist but I don't care what people believe--otherwise I'd go crazy.

  • @Kirke182 same here

  • "Put a cookie in your belloy button and go as a raisin!"

    God love Archie.

Gloria imitating Lily Tomblin's Edith Ann -- very funny!

  • he gave the bronx cheer to the lord

  • "What the hell do I look like an inferior decorator?"

  • Not influencing your kids should then mean that you shouldn't teach them your left wing political beliefs then meathead, otherwise you're a hypocrite.

  • @mhasy1965

Your talking to a TV character, lol.

  • "to use his dukes right"..

human nature.. you'll never escape it.

it matters not who your god is.

    it matters who you are.

  • "This is a new high in low!"

    LMAO

  • quick, slick tie done like a true old timer... Archie Bunker for President!!!

  • Is the episode with the draft dodger and the father of the son who was killed in 'Nam on Youtube? Or how about the one where Arch and Mike get trapped in the cooler? Or the one where there is a blackout in the city? Just a few of these come to mind. Can anyone help?

  • thankfully not all athiests are complete and ignorant dickheads like mike is. but then again mike has always been an ignorant dickhead in this show. everyone always talked about "archie was wrong about this, he was wrong about that," yet people forget mike wasn't always right either. hes a bleeding heart liberal of the worst kind.

  • Good comment.

  • sometimes mikes just make remarks about reilgion when its not really necasry to archi and below the belt sometimes

    he knows how archie feels

  • Religion doesn't cause problems, people do. It is people who negatively influence others by using religion.

  • put a raisin in your belly button and go as a cookie

  • I think Archie has the right idea here, parents should influence their kids. What if they said "We're not going to influence him" and then he turns to drugs. Also, Mike's such a jerk for making fun of praying.

  • Praying? Praying SHOULD be made fun of, because praying is how to act like your doing something, when in reality, you really just dont care. Just like there are those who will not donate a dime to Haiti right now, but will pray for there safety.

  • Archie was one flooding pants wearing mofo lol

  • ty for all of these

  • Some people, huh?

  • I agree and not only is he white, he's American.

  • @Goosesteps Which means bugger all.

  • let them run wild , religion its the crack of the masses, let those childs find their own goods,be ipod or chuy or the sun

  • Mynjunkyard , THANK YOU for posting these here clips.

  • i just watched this one on tvland haha it was funny

  • Amen Srd Agreeds 100% the bible says train them up in the way they should go and thats in the word of God =)

  • Typical liberal parents of the era--"Don't want to 'influence' him, make his own decision" That is why so many liberal parents have kids in trouble, they give no guidance to them.

  • They didn't want to influence the baby in regards to religion. That doesn't mean that they are going to ignore or be permissive parents.

  • Parents that give no guidance on religion tend to be lax in other areas as well.

  • When I say the major questions, I mean "where does the universe come from" and questions of that nature. IMHO it's not good for a kid to be just handed his parents' opinions on such questions.

Obviously parents need to teach kids about the world, but just handing them a religion is borderline indoctrination. That goes for Muslims as well as Christians. It's sad! Democracy is all about informed choices. If your religion wasn't a choice, it's like a spoiled ballot. It doesn't count.

  • You ignorant bible beater...the majority of the children have seen grow up to be thieves and druggies, have been those who grew up going to church every sunday. Learn your facts

  • perhaps you would like to cite this where "fact" comes from?

  • You know what I got news for you I am Christian and I am not robbing convience stores Belief in God doesn't cause people to become criminals it is the people that twist and warp the meaning of the religious teachings that mess people Also mindless materialism has turned us into selfish assholes We no longer care about each All we care about now are all the useless fancy gadgets and gizmos we have We all need to change our way We need to care about each and respect each others beliefs

  • Where the heck did you come up with THAT? Hmmmm......... Must be one of those little known facts--little known b/c you made it up, right?

  • what an absolutely retarded statement. Do you have ANY facts to back up this ridiculous claim? I think stats would show that the majority of kdis that grow up in trouble are more often than not products of single family homes, regardless of religion.

  • Hmm....ever heard of Sarah Palin?

  • 1:50 That suit look awesome

  • "oh I wouldn't say nuthin to make you feel good"

  • Anything else he should know?

Use his dukes, run fast through the portarican neighborhoods. lol, so funny yet so bad.

  • OMG I just realized how much Edith reminds me of my God-given-grandmother, same hair, height, dress wear and body. I asked her to make an 'Archie' call with the high pitch voice and she did it so good.

  • Archie: "Whose gonna see me crossing the alley; A couple of cats?" HAHA Wise ass Archie. These writers couldn't have picked a better actor for Archies' character. Carol O`Conner. One of the greatest!

  • Comment removed

  • was she really pregnant?

  • damn excuse me! for askin a simple question. man shit

  • no...only in the show!!

  • Legit question BabyEeyore509. Don't know where all the hostilities came from. If you don't follow the show, you may not know if she was pregnant for real or not. It has nothing to do with thinking, as theshaggyskinhead put it. If you don't know you ask questions. But since many people are nutcases and type first and think second, I would suggest googling it first. That's what I do. Cheers.

  • yeah because shaggyskinhead a smartass guy decided to be stupid. no but on the fresh prince vivian was really pregnant. I don't know anything about back then thats why I was asking.

  • " to defend American shores in all foreign countries.." ROTFLMAO!!!

    That is a timeless joke.......lol

  • i could wear my green shoes with it cause green goes with red and yellow!

Yeah if you want to look like a traffic light!

    2:39

  • The back end of a Zebra. hahaha

I wouldn't say anything to make you feel good.

  • "What do I look like, an inferior decorator?" haha
