Hey don't try to analyze the music, just enjoy it, this is a great track from what I think is Pink Floyd's best studio album, I rate it above Dark Side Of The Moon anyway.
@opiqued There are several interpretations, but if you listen to the entire album (or have any background info on the band) you'll find that the album is dedicated entirely to bashing the music industry (like this song) or paying tribute to Syd Barrett. Some interpretations point to the band blaming the music industry for Barrett's mental collapse, with songs like "Have a Cigar" and this one.
@joshizdebest420 ok im not getting involved in your bitch fit or anything but what the fuck did you just say i couldnt understand a word of what u just said and on a pink floyd video are u serious seriously...
Does it really matter who smoked more cannabis than so&so ???
NO! If you enjoy partaking of the plant then do so, but why argue over it, that defeats the purpose of smoking cannabis. Take a hit a just enjoy the music & video.
~Thank you Pink Floyd for creating a wonderful piece of music~
A great video to a great song. I'll never forget when I heard this song (and album) for the first time and saw what music could do with "adult" themes and were deeper than most of what was being offered at the time.

Pink Floyd videos always went well with the songs they were created for. Kinda sad that this art form called music video is barely still around. Now most music vids just feature a band playing live.Music is not what it use to be.Its mostly about the bands personal image rather than art.Not only that musical quality has gone way down.No one cars about dynamic range anymore. Its loudness right from the mastering and or mixing process.

@Johnlindsey289 I've been a Pink Floyd fan ever since my brother introduced me to their music and showed me The Wall when i was 7. He also introduced me to Kiss, Led Zeppelin and Queen, among many others.

Its funny how Target will sell Pink Floyd shirts like they know what the shit is. Ironic how public relations relly on this [("love us we'll act cool as long as you $hop here") street cred for the consumers opinion] in order to survive... and maintain a good public relations. Its funny how Target will sell Pink Floyd shirts like they know what the shit is. Ironic how public relations relly on this [("love us we'll act cool as long as you $hop here") street cred for the consumers opinion] in order to survive... and maintain a good public relations. In otherwords, The soul-less store will distribute music and goods created by artists that that truly hate everything they stand for.

I think it might be the abstract nature of the video accompanied by the music.
