@GotenSSJ1 I don't know... I've never bothered trying to find out. I've got the thing in storage now, but I'm pretty sure this is one of the first generation ones they came out with. It's got to be in upwards of 5 years old by now.

The only time I ever have to look at the keyboard is when I'm trying to type a certain symbol. And I cannot for the life of me remember the "Home-row Number Keys." I just usually immediately switch over to the keypad.

I decided to go for a blank keyboard about five years ago. It was irritating as hell for the first year or two, but the longer you stick with it the easier it gets. Eventually you'll be letter perfect and able to type fast without ever having to look down, which is incredibly useful. Do it.

You don't necessarily need to spend a lot of money either. I just scratched the letters off my first keyboard with a knife, then found a reasonably priced generic blank keys one to replace it when it died.

That keyboard is only for the 1337. I'm going to get one when I get out of basic, but I wish that they made a wireless version of it. But at least I wouldn't get visually confused when i'm typing dvorak on a qwerty keyboard, or vice versa. But I would only have to memorize the symbols above the the numbers. After 5 years of touch typing, I never bothered to actually sit down and memorize them. But based on your usage of the Das Keyboard, how does it compare to the other ones that you've used?

I touch type, but for some reason, I fear the no numbers or letters on there lol, I had a dream of this a couple of times, one time I told this dream, and when I came into the office one day, someone put those tiny little round white stickers on each and every one of them, i said, oh God, it's happened! lol, sorry,corny but true story. Love the sound of that keyboard :-)

Oh, don't get me wrong, I still look at the keyboard sometimes... although, after about 5 or 10 seconds, I think to myself, "Self... why are you looking at the keyboard?"

And then I chuckle. But only on the inside.

The best thing is that when you buy them off the internet you don't have to say which layout!

But I wouldn't buy one till theres one with an L shaped enter key.
