Just wanted to say I suffer from a severe case of ADHD, as well as lower back pains and rather harsh depression. When I smoke marijuana, even just a single hit of reefer off of a joint, I can finally organize my thoughts. My attention span is no longer virtually nothing. The back pains seem insignificant, and I feel like I can stay optimistic in life. Why they even allowed the illegalization of this herb without fully having studied it in the first place is beyond me.
I've seen both sides of the Arguement from Marijuana activists, to anti Marijuana activists. I've come to a conclusion of "if you really want to do it? go ahead because there are benefits, but you really shouldn't".
I like to ask all Marijuana users who are reading this a question? Why do Marijuana in the first place, what's the point of it?
@TheLandOfTears The point? Anyone that hasn't smoked weed is probably asking the same thing. The point is that it gets you high as fuck and feels good! Alot of people steer away from it after trying it once because your body isn't use to it and people experience different things. Some like it and some get too high and get scared. I just wanted to say that I think marijuana should be de-criminalized, along with every other drug, because it's hypocritical to legalize alcohol and cigarettes and not heroin, but personally, I don't smoke anymore (after over ten years on and off) because it sends me insane. I saw a spider, and thought that my friend was Satan, and that he had conjured it up out of thin air using magic. I thought there was a guy at my work who was a spy from the government sent to check on me, I could go on.
@InfamousAct I'm sick of people saying there are no deaths from marijuana. It obviously kills you over time if you smoke enough of it whether or not you mix it with tobacco, or other substances. I started smoking because of pot, I had no urge to try tobacco, but everyone smokes it with that here. I knew a guy who died with a bong in his hand, because he took a non-lethal dose of valium. Of course you would say it's harmless. No long term studies have been done. A friend of mine died an extremely slow painful death from lung cancer after smoking pot mixed with tobacco, through a bong. Where I am, that's how 99% of the people smoke it, which means that to us, pot means cancer, or a flip of a coin as to whether or not you end up dying from it.

I'm a long term smoker and have smoked every day for the last four years. I currently work within a University as a researcher, marijuana isn't a hindrance to your life as long as you don't find yourself satisfied with sitting on your ass all day doing nothing. The only thing I'd suggest about this video is although the info is spot on, the spelling on a couple of examples was incorrect. Just saying, it's the only thing to discredit it in anyway.

I think this needs to be sent to the DEA, FDA, NBC, Local government and federal government. I hate how so many people are against it because of what they were taught in school or from what our so dependable government says.
I think this video should cite its sources for credibility. It's pretty obvious that there is a bias in this video, thus some people might dismiss it as "pothead" propaganda. I just think that if we want to spread awareness about the helpful qualities of any (illegal) substance, we have to do so in a way that is fully legitimate. Overall, I do believe there is merit to every one of those facts, but there still needs to be more research done about medicinal marijuana.

Okay I think everything about weed is good, but here are some real negative effects.Not bs negative effects but, real ones. It can slow down growth of children byat the most 1 and 1/2 in. It causes dry lips. And, that is about it.

@Mooninite969 You should do some more research. I read an article of a study they did that showed that weed usage in young people is not good for brain growth, something like that. It is probably better to wait until your brain is finished growing to it's adult size, if that makes any sense. Not judging, just sayin. "Slowing down" tumor growth is not the same as "shrinking tumors" - the video seems to contradict itself here. Let's not jump up and down and tout pot as a cancer cure. But, if it does slow the growth of tumors, thereby making cancer less aggressive and easier to treat, that is still more than many of our current FDA approved drugs seem to be capable of.

Not only are the physical effects of it good so are the mental effects. I have a theory that cannabis is an important part of staying healthy, almost like a its a vitamin or something that when you do without weakens your immune system and weakens your mind. I just wanted to say that I think marijuana should be de-criminalized, along with every other drug, because it's hypocritical to legalize alcohol and cigarettes and not heroin, but personally, I don't smoke anymore (after over ten years on and off) because it sends me insane. I saw a spider, and thought that my friend was Satan, and that he had conjured it up out of thin air using magic. I thought there was a guy at my work who was a spy from the government sent to check on me, I could go on.

I started smoking because of pot, I had no urge to try tobacco, but everyone smokes it with that here. I knew a guy who died with a bong in his hand, because he took a non-lethal dose of valium. Of course you would say it's harmless. No long term studies have been done. A friend of mine died an extremely slow painful death from lung cancer after smoking pot mixed with tobacco, through a bong. Where I am, that's how 99% of the people smoke it, which means that to us, pot means cancer, or a flip of a coin as to whether or not you end up dying from it.

I'm a long term smoker and have smoked every day for the last four years. I currently work within a University as a researcher, marijuana isn't a hindrance to your life as long as you don't find yourself satisfied with sitting on your ass all day doing nothing. The only thing I'd suggest about this video is although the info is spot on, the spelling on a couple of examples was incorrect. Just saying, it's the only thing to discredit it in anyway.

I think this video should cite its sources for credibility. It's pretty obvious that there is a bias in this video, thus some people might dismiss it as "pothead" propaganda. I just think that if we want to spread awareness about the helpful qualities of any (illegal) substance, we have to do so in a way that is fully legitimate. Overall, I do believe there is merit to every one of those facts, but there still needs to be more research done about medicinal marijuana.

It is probably better to wait until your brain is finished growing to it's adult size, if that makes any sense. Not judging, just sayin. I hear for children you can grow more addicted psychologically. But, well I'm one of the kids you'll see at a school that hangs out at a bridge and smokes weed before school. "Slowing down" tumor growth is not the same as "shrinking tumors" - the video seems to contradict itself here. Let's not jump up and down and tout pot as a cancer cure. But, if it does slow the growth of tumors, thereby making cancer less aggressive and easier to treat, that is still more than many of our current FDA approved drugs seem to be capable of.

My great grandfather, bless his heart, before he died recently, was blind most of his life from glaucoma. Not only are the physical effects of it good so are the mental effects. I have a theory that cannabis is an important part of staying healthy, almost like a its a vitamin or something that when you do without weakens your immune system and weakens your mind. The governments know this and voted to make it illegal to control us, but be sure to get your daily dose of fluoride though. @NoxDeadly The risk of getting in trouble is incredibly low now in most states. Here in Seattle, marijuana laws are enforced less than JAY WALKING. Anyone else who willingly breaks the law to smoke it clearly knows the truth about marijuana and are doing nothing but fighting against an unjust law. Any "responsible" government should recognize that thousands of people are being killed by this failure we call a drug war and wouldn't keep marijuana illegal because greed is so important to them.
