Obama has a bigger penis and is more fit and young. What more do you want? An old fuck that probably cant even get his dick hard? Its an easy choice for me.
Well we can look at the polls. And I dont care about polls. Thats bullshit. But listen I like John McCain. He's a war hero. Who does'nt like a hero. He was great at the RNC. But I just don't see a difference in his approach as to Bush. Im self employed and yea his ideas on finance in business is tempting. But outside of business ownership, It does'nt do much for the working man. I have to side with Obama for now.
The ironic thing is that most of obamas followers are more experienced to be president than he is. Sara Palin is more experienced than Bill Clinton was. Bill was governor of a small state with a small population and no foreign policy experience or military experience.
This is a no brainer, ask our enemies (Osama, Iran, N. Koreans, Russians and socialist Europeans) who they want to win.... and then if you are a real American, vote for the one that will make them fear us. They all want Obama, duh.. a no brainer. If you vote for Obama, you are voting with the enemies of America and therefore you are an enemy of America.
I think Obama should go more on the offensive. This will make McCain's position look weak. By being diplomatic and not attacking, he makes people think he's not strong or decisive. I believe Obama comes away from this debate better with more knowledge of what areas he need to improve.
Great editorial video. Thank you for sharing this. The one aspect of the debate that just felt so uneasy was watching McCain he just seemed so uneasy. The fact that McCain showed purposeful restraint in not looking at Obama. It felt so uneasy and was distracting from listening to McCain. McCain just did not seem comfortable when Obama pointed out facts. I feel that neither person gained ground after this debate.
Ok...Was the John vs. Senator McCain thing really a big idea!! I mean his name is John McCain for God's Sake. People are saying that Obama was being Disrespectful when he simply called him by his name. And at times he did call him Senator Mccain. But Overall, Who Really cares. As long as he didn't call him out of his name, like so many other people do on youtube and around the world. What matters are the issues and they're ability to lead, not the stupid "job title" lipstick crap!!
This is the most unbiased analysis I've read on YouTube. I think it was a tie. However, I'm giving Obama a win because this was McCain's area of expertise and he should have come out way ahead. He did well, but so did Obama. Obama only had to hold up well and he did. He actually did better than I thought he would. However, I wasn't sure what either candidate really knew about foreign affairs.
UR entitled 2 UR opinion. I believe the debate was a tie. Obama saying McCain is right shows me OB has the ability to recognize ideas of others. That will work well with Congress & in negotiations with other countries. He won't sit there, not look at anyone who doesn't agree and refuse 2 talk. I don't want 4 years of drama when the country is in a jam. Palin was a big mistake (just a desperate move, Great idea, wrong woman) the farce of suspending campaigns, avoiding debates. Too much drama
Maybe that is all you wanted to hear from Obama? "solodude45" Who do you think will solve this economic credit crisis. McCain who states he knows nothing about economics or Obama who shows he has a grasp on the economy. Just what did McCain say he will do to help the economy? He offered no solid plan or did I miss that?
perhaps im just used to approaching a politician and getting their attention by assuming a more formal greeting vs. hoping they'll accept being addressed by just their name
also, it helps if you don't know their full name.
FYI, I happened to be watching the debate with an English teacher, so he was the one that pointed out the vocab thing in the first place. Simply some food for thought.
lol accept being addressed by just their name??? Are they gods? Should I get on my knees or bow before them. They are here to represent me. Not to be idolized or pole-vaulted to psychological superiority. But I understand if your working in the system you gotta go with the grain. And truthfully I liked your overall anlysis and I think you put it together alot nicer and non partisan then most I've seen or read. No hard feelings.
Fair analysis. My biggest problem in the entire debate was when McCain emptily cited his superior "knowledge", "experience", and "good judgment" to Obama, as if these were measurable entities in which McCain is the undisputed champion. I personally believe McCain has more experience, but Obama has more knowledge and superior judgment. And "experience" isn't everything. Let's not forget that George W. Bush had a good amount of experience as Texan governor. Little good that did him. -_-
Nice analysis. As far as Obama calling McCain John I feel that to call him senator is somewhat demeaning to the common person when you think about it. Why should he call him senator? Everybody knows hes a senator. Calling him that is just a formality, that is ancient in tradition, which tells the people listening, "Hey, I have status and you should recognize it." More useless garbage that needs to be cleaned up in the 21st century. It's a new day.
I hear what you're saying about it being a "new day" insofar as courtesies like "Senator" being used all the time, but I don't happen to find that such a good thing. In traveling around on the campaign trail for almost two years, I've been pleasantly whenever to hear elected officials addressed as "congressman" or "senator" etc. While it's also nice when the politician says, "call me John," I don't happen to think it's "demeaning to the common person" to still use these forms of address.

You think it was a TIE on substance......? WHat?
Okay then.
Give me two instances of John McCain going into depth about any of his policies talking about how he plans to achieve them.
I don't think you'll be able to since all he did was bring up talking points that we all know about without actually going in depth at all.
There's no way in hell it was a tie on substance.

Well thought out. I like that you identified some specific quotes from each candidate and I agree with your assessment of the quotes. Good post.
