i have a pod x3 pro, is it possible to do this process with an x3 on a mac???? when i go to "line 6 audio mid devices" theres no options to change the in/outs..... please help!!!
hey im connecting my pod with midi cables and i can use line6 and put patches on my podxt but when i go into control panel and go into the line6 aplet it says no devices found
Good video :) Im just having one problem though; Ive plugged my PodXT Live into my computer via USB, and set Reaper up as suggested in the video ect, but after ive recorded something, if I play it back, I hear nothing. As far as I know everything is updated and good. Just ondering if you could think of what ive done wrong??
@TomahawkLauncher yeah, you either need to change the audio mode in the control panel applet for your XT (it's all in the XT manual so take a look at that) or click the speaker icon just to the left of the fader on the track. i think it being filled in anc green means it'll monitor the track. that would be the easiest way. if you get stuck, you are trying to monitor the recorded audio, so google that.
Thanks for the video! Got a problem though: when I go to the "Device" in Reaper it doesnt have ASIO selected, but "WaveOut". As the "Input Device" it has "Microsoft Sound Mapper". I can change it to ASIO, but then theres nothing to choose from, everything is blank. Also I cant see my POD in my control panel. Can you help me? (Im using POD2.0 by the way) PS. sorry Im very unexperienced with these but I so want to learn to record..

POD 2 has no audio interface within it, so I'm not sure how you think this would work...
fir more technical questions, you should ask on the line6 forum community.
