remember this was the very first series I ever really bothered watching when I was like 14..19 now..hoe times flies! haven`t watched season 5 yet, but watched some of it and thought the show kinda faded out..like "prison break"..first season was immense..then second good..rest..meeeh..."the wire" is the only great show over more than 3 seasons!

I personally don't think that season 4 did the show justice, but I think that it was mainly because it was so short. Fox should have at least let them have a full length season! Everything happened so fast, and they really weren't able to develope certain things to the fullest extent.
