my main character was a thief: (works only in second act) he could steel anything and then i sold it at the harbor, stealing, selling, stealing, selling and so on. i had enough gold to equip my others chars good enough to play with 4 characters (evil is the best^^)

Making money isn`t that hard in this game so I never worried about it. This is the greatest game ever made though, I been playing this thing off and on for a year, it just goes on forever, although it taxes the CPU like crazy. They got like a zillion calculations going on constantly and even though my CPU got 3GHZ of speed, the damn thing nearly fries up from all the sh*t it`s got to do, The fan goes into high speed every few minutes.

Money is pretty useless anyway. You're stuck with over 100k after a few chapters no matter what you do and there's only so much useful stuff you can buy.

why bother playing the game if youre going to do that? It's already way too easy without exploits. This game is only enjoyable with mods that block cheap tricks and is also much more difficult.

The thing is in Baldur's Gate 2 is if you spend time playing the game through normally doing quests, exploring things, you get more than enough gold for the entire game anyways :)

Another infinite gold trick: 1) Have a potion and a single gem in your inventory. 2) Use the potion, then move the gem to the potion's slot in the inventory screen. You get to keep the potion but the number of gems goes from 1 to 0 (the number disappears). 3) Repeat step 2, the number of gems should go from 0 to -1, but due to the way numbers are calculated you now have 65,535 gems. Works great with Rogue stones. :-D

Order Yoshimo to throw everything from his backpack away 6. There will be a club +2 (truncheon) to be bought - steal as much as you can carry 7. Sell everything for 8000 PG 8. Havin' more than 180% of success will make it easier 9. Beat my record - 250 000 PG in an hour - this will make you "chief thief

I agree. I always have a lot of money because most of the best items in the game are found and not bought anyways. Besides, fighting is fun and this is one of the hardest groups to fight early on in the game.

I dont think there is a steal menu in adventurer's mart cause if there was it would save me a fortune lol! But you can steal a ring of regen from the adventurer's mart shop keep which is quite nice

Yes, It works Perfectly on vista (I played it on vista 32 Ultimate)but if u ve problems just click on properties on the exe and run it in an older win version....

Also! I forgot to mention that there is another kind of store that you can steal from in the docks area. They already start with one rogue stone if i remember, and you just sell your equipment and steal it back to him.
