hmm Im not quite sure I enjoyed this dance... its a bit of an on/off thing. Shes definately talented and Im sure shes been dancing for many years. Though in some parts she was rather graceful, in some and many other parts, and I know someone already got bashed for using this word, she was stiff. But maybe thats how the dance was supposed to be considering that its not meant to be a traditional sugar plum fairy. Regardless, I suppose its not entirely to my liking.

As a former dancer, this was one of the best versions of Sugar Plum I have ever seen. ... It was modern, yet maintained classic form and technique.

Made me want to get up and try it.. Even with all my aches and pains from arthritis!!! She is a great dancer. Perfect execution and timing.

What a fantastic modern twist on a classic! The modernized, funky tutu is neat and I was able to overlook the bounciness after a few seconds. The dancer's extensions were near perfect, as were her pauses and tempo changes! Overall, just GREAT! I wanna see more!

I liked the new take on the dance, but I think that tutu is too distracting, It's bouncing and flopping around her waist made me not notice her feet or extensions as much. She has nice feet tho. Also the bottom half of the leotard looked weird, I think it was just because of the tutu tho.

It is "Faeries" by Mannheim Steamroller - it's a jazzed up version of the original Sugar Plum Fairy by Tchaikovsky. I can't get it on iTunes so perhaps you need to look for it elsewhere....

Wowzas, she's GOOOD! So much control on pointe, with poise, confidence & a very good comprehension of using her core strength to give her the stability she needs to perform certain steps (particularly those 1 legged) on pointe.

Damn. I wish I was as good as that on pointe (note to all girls starting out on pointe for the first time: make SURE you get your pointe shoes fitted correctly. Else you'll end up years behind where you should be) :-S
