BUT THE BOSS WILL KEEP ROCKING ON I HOPE !! LISTEN AND ENJOY !! BARTON HILL BRISTOL CREW !! WEST COUNTRYS NUMBER ONE !!! CSF !! FUCK THE GAS !!!
This, and Neil Young on the Friday, were the best 2 live performances I've EVER witnessed. Especially The River.
I almost didn't bother getting tickets for this year, as I thought nothing would top it. Then I remembered there's nowhere else I'd rather be in June, even with shit bands.
This was one if not the most powerful moment of live music i ever had the privilege to witness. I was pretty close to front in the middle. He conquered Glastonbury and stole every heart listening to him that night, seriously. Pretty much everyone i talked to after this talked about wanting to watch Springsteen again. I will never forget this performence.
i was there and i started the BORN IN THE USA chan no joke.
bottle of absenth and me and my mate started chanting soon enough every1 joined in such a surreal moment what a performance my favourite of the 2 years i have been lucky enough to go
Yes very interested! Was gutted when I got back from Glastonbury to find this wasn't on the recording. If you could post it with a link here that would be amazing.
Thank you, for sharing. Glastonbury, is, a sacred place for many reasons. I have been there, last year, and I am looking forward, to go back, not only for concerts, more so, experiencing a wonderful spirit and community.
When I saw the......(what I thought was) smoke... I thought he was literally catching on fire lol.... hehehe. I thought "someone, throw water on him quuiiiick!!!!" lol
What a great camera shot though. When I saw him steamin like that, I knew it would make Glasto history!
I was lucky enough to be there, I was a bit sceptical at first about whether he'd be any good, because I don't really know any of his music that well, but I can honestly say that he completely blew me away.
This year was the third time i've been to Glastonbury, my seventh festival experience and Bruce's set was one of tens of dozens that i've seen, and I can say with complete conviction that it was one of the best.
It's good that he has attracted new fans through his awesome set but Bruce himself says large audiences are transient by nature. I went to Hampden to see him for the 2nd time and I was dismayed by the amount of yahs in the crowd, they were not Bruce fans, they were just there because he earned rave reviews for Glastonbury. Alot of mainstream British magazines./radio stations announced that Bruce was 'back ' after Glasto but for real fans, he is the greatest live performer of his generation.
they must have released more or were seating, as i had standin but couldnt make it.They sold face value on e bay. Wouldnt profit off Bruce's back. Went Glasgow , amasin
That's not such a bad thing. The idea behind touring an album is to put yourself out there for a new audience. In my opinion it is a good thing to have "yahs" there. Even "yahs" should have a bit of Bruce in their life :)
'yahs' just latch onto anything that is fresh and new and 'hip' as Bruce supposedily has become after Glastonbury. True fans, and I see myself as a true fan, despair at people jumping on the bandwagon. It makes it hardier to get tickets when people just go because it happens to be fashionable to do so. Bruce has said that himself in his book, 'Songs', the chapter on Tunnel Of Love is very intersting on his realtionship with mass audiences. That's just my opinion though.
i was there, in the middle and i could see the steam comming from him. This performence was easily one of the high point of my life. the emotion was strong. Iv seen alot of artists and bands, and this was played out to perfection. He was the talk of Glasto for the rest of Saturday night, all day sunday and monday when we left. This guy is a true legend.
Why is "I'm on Fire" in parenthsizes? It's a seperate song all together! Both are great. The River is one of my top 10 favorite Bruce songs (and any serious fan of Bruce's knows that that's saying something, sense he has, like, a hundred amazing songs to his credit!)
What a great performance! and he's looking so good for his age! Like, wow, as hot as ever (literally!)
this is my favourite song - everrr although I preffered the live version that was on the live cd 75-85. I just loooove it. he is one of my favourite artists too i watched this on tv. shame that they didn't show the full 2 1/2 hrs (roughly 2 1/2) that it went on for
Saw him at Hampden. Fucking mesmerising. My mate started talking to me half-way through this song, I basically told him to shut the fuck up. The Boss is a star. You can see how much he loves performing for you, me and everybody. He's my new closest thing to God. And he's built like a tank! I wouldn't mess.
I love this guy , a true gentleman in every sense of the word, i cover dancing in the dark and born to run, in my meat loaf tribute show see my channel video 5
RDS dublin Saturday lashing rain and grey skies for four hours two hours into the gig Bruce starts playing Waiting on a sunny day half way through he points to the back off the stage and theres a tiny bit of blue just creeping in at the corner of the stadium and theres a fucking rainbow behind the stage!
I saw him in Holland and now I'm going to see him in Dublin. It's the 1st time I'm taking a plane to go to a concert. You wouldn't believe the crazy stuff I'm doing to be part of this. I could loose my job over it.. But I am so looking forward to this!
Why because i do not like Bruce you need to learn how to cope with criticism there is plenty of it and not everyone likes Bruce and oh i see plenty of fans have given me the thumbs down well i guess that's the way it is. Each to their own.
not really i couldnt give a fuck what you think, if you dont like it, dont fucking comment on it, pretty much shows you dont have any musical taste though! bet your a fan of the kooks, franz ferdinand and bollocks like that
Just one min here your comment of if you do not like it do not comment is a ridiculous comment to make everyone is entitled to their own opinion on a star whether it be they like him or they do not just because people like you cannot handle criticise in their life does not give you the right to tell them they cannot put their own opinion on a comment box
