"Alright, now THAT'S the melody"! Frank may be gone, but his music will live on. He's one of the artists I seriously regret never having heard in person. And what a band here!
i saw frank six different times in the late 70s and then in the 80s and i have seen over two hundred concerts in my life , absolutely nothing even comes close to a FZ concert in so many ways .he was such a genius !
brilliant composition, love the way FZ plays with it and changes it every performance. For me the best approximate is on YCDTOSA vol.4 (Heinz Heinz ... make FOOD)
chester youre not singing ur drum fills, thats some funny shit, great stuff. i recently did a drum solo in a jazz band all on bass drum but mimicked hitting the toms with a flambouyant flair. air drums on toms that is, thanks zappa for the madnes inspiration,,, the audience got it also... my bass player almost shit himself laughing that he missed the que .. ill get him again sometime!
Frank really enjoying himself......lovely

it is Frank Zappa who prompts me to ask my doctor for a PSA test; on at least an annual basis

There used to be 'Clapton is God' graffiti in the 70s. They were wrong.

I prefer this band over any in the 80's,
I also prefer bozzio band and first part of colaiuta band .1973-1979 zappa at his best.
