Wrigley field will stay as is fenway park is .....same well at least the city of Boston n owners are makin it look updated at Wrigley only thing that is outdated is cubs.....and stadium where if place packed the toilets over flow into streets!
What an amazing set of memories I have of the old stadium. From moving here from New York and being able to go to football and baseball games whenever we wanted, to filming the Babe Ruth movie in 91 and having the run of the entire place, to the Pink Floyd shows in '94 and the RnR HOF concert. It was old, falling apart, and smelly, but it was OURS and I miss it.
Tons of memories like the time the beer vendor was so drunk he gave us free beer.
Going to Indians games and we could sit wherever we wanted because nobody was there! The World Series of Rock: Stoners yelling "windowpane! I got windowpane!"
I gotta say, it's sad the way it turned out. We had a traitor owner but our fans and the lovers of Browns football kept us where we belong. Art cemented his place in hell, and sold his soul for money. This would have never happened if we built a new stadium and played at OSU while it was built. So as it goes I'm happy to see it knocked to the ground, it is the reason the Browns left.
Place was old, decrepit, creaky, and it smelled most of the time, but MAN DO I MISS THAT PLACE! The original "Dawg Pound"!!!! So many good, and bad, memories there.
fellowtraveler87: you're exactly right, its like watching your best friend die and theres nothing you can do to stop it. the only reason I can find words is because I have a keyboard. I sit here speechless and genuinely hurt watching this. ...and its been 16 years.. I want to hurt someone ...a certain person that I dont dare give the time of day to mention HIS name. Fucking bastard.
can barely watch this... so many good memories there. Its like watching your best friend being put to death. I would take that old stadium over the new one any day.
@ifuckdeadweekids41 Still can't get over me, huh? Lowlife.

I miss that old stadium. It smelled, the plumbing was bad, it leaked, and it shook, but that was fun place to be when the Browns were winning!!!

@scoot1105 My good friend was born and raised in Cleveland. He has said the very same thing.
