  • Cruises are supposed to be fun and I understand how anyone who was on the Costa may feel like they will never take another cruise again but give it time. This doesn't reflect on all cruises. They are generally safe. Don't let one ignorant, dumbass captain ruin your chance at another. One that will be everything you want it to be. There are more safety regulations being implemented because of this. Take all the time you need to heal even if it means years. Then consider trying again.

  • i will never forget this day. :'( all my things stay in the costa a lot of souvenirs it was my first and my last cruise......

  • Pore pepole

  • I like my women how I like my Italian Cruises.

Wet, wrecked and ready to go down.

  • make whoever is responsible PAY !!!!!!!!!

  • I heard last night that they found a woman in a hall way in her life vest. :( she was about to go up to the dock but the water rised and she drowned. I send out prayers to all the families who have lost a family member on this accident, and I pray that the captin realizes he made a massive mistake and should be ashamed of himself.

  • Typical WOP coward!

  • Time for charges against the captain dereliction of duty.

  • this is such a scary situation.. if i was on that ship i would be so scared. what are they doing with the actual wreck? cause isn't it still above the water?

  • I don't understand why people are argueing and poking fun at such a tragedy. A dozen or so people lost their lives. Now isn't the time to make jokes.

  • @kristenespinosa yes, correct most people are assholes but you are not.

  • I had a hoist on my bird....

  • dive FAIL at 1:13

  • Why don't they use thermal imaging to find the survivors?

  • @FoldedNICK Are there places above the water line that have not been able to be searched? I think what the rescue workers will be doing is making a systematic search of all the rooms with the aid of schematics/ plans and passenger lists. No areas will be missed and so no point in using thermal imaging.

If it was used they would see those still alive on board but they still have to get to them. In this situation working systematically is more important than speed.

  • Look at the size of that rock! The Concordia scraped the bottom, the rock punctured the hull and ripped that gash. And no one in the engine rooms died? Only 13 passengers? nonsense.

  • all aboard the fail boat

  • @Granciozzy this has to be the stupidest, most rascist, arrogant post ever!!

  • @shoutatthesky

Well do you find something of " most racist , arrogant " in my post?

  • @Granciozzy Well, actually it is technically not racism but to condemn a group of people based on the area they live is certainly arrogant and disrespectful.

  • @shoutatthesky No. It's clear you're not italian, I don't think you could understand what we mean with our "racism" (or better "Not-trusting") for Naples.

All that you people living in other countries can see about Naples, is the sea, the typical music, the food... there is a LOT of other things to valuate!

Neapolitans are known in Italy for being the cheatest, the most ignorant people (on average) in the entire country and the most corrupted and corruptive.

This IS NOT RACISM. This is realism.

  • @Pecchio92 I don't need to live in Italy to know that it makes no sense to condemn EVERYONE that lives in Naples just because they live there. Do you hate the 5 minute old baby also? No one could possibly have a reason to hate a newborn baby but it is the same logic you are using for all other Neapolitans. And what do Neapolitans say about those from Sicily or Giglio or wherever.

  • @shoutatthesky Omg...be REALIST, JESUS!

I'm not obviously talking about NEAPOLITANS as a group of people living in the area around Naples...I'm talking to them as a different "kind" of Italians. It's clear I don't hate someone just because he's born in that area..I'm not saying this! I've a couple of friends who were born there, and I also know a lot of good people from Naples.

The fact is that I, and almost every Italian, hate the AVERAGE Neapolitan, who is ignorant and on, like I said before.

  • @Pecchio92

    You're so fuckin right man!

  • @shoutatthesky I invite you to go to Naples one day. So you could see how cheating and corrupted are the people living in that zone.

And again, I'm not saying that EVERYONE from there is a cheater and a corrupted person.

Just that 99% of corrupted men, cheaters, and ignorant people in Italy are from Naples and the zones around that city.

I'm not condemning Neapolitans because they're from Naples.

I'm condemning them because of the thingsthat the average Neapolitan makes.

    Have I been clear now?

  • @Granciozzy Totally agree with you...i'm Italian too and I fucking hate Neapolitans...I would never trust any of them neither in a matter of life and death.

I'm not ashamed to be Italian, by the way. I'm ashamed Naples is part of Italy and most of military officers are from the Neapolitan province.

  • @Pecchio92 Hopefully they will stage a coup and get rid of all you haters? Do you hate the 5 min old newborn babies of Naples? How mean of you.

  • Rapists will have a great excuse now in courts, I slipped and tripped therefore my cock went through the pussy, I did not mean it

  • Years ago, my Grandparents would go on Norwegian or British liners, but not Italian ones. Grandpa said that their captains would always abandon the ship if something went afoul.

  • @baxtermaxtor That's because you're grandparents, along with everybody else, didn't know which side the Italians were on.

  • THAT SINKING SHIP IS AMERICA!!

  • @60NXNP09 The World

  • They sure ROCKED this video.

    Yeah, I know.

  • Amanda Knox is laughing her pretty and innocent head off right about now ...stupid Italians.

  • Insurance job like the rena..

  • Built at a cost of £372 million, the 950ft long Costa Concordia has five restaurants and 13 bars, four swimming pools and can hold 3,700 passengers HAHAHAHA please build another..

  • please move RT logo back to corner. Starting to get on last nerve

  • @gern2010 it is at the corner. It is on the right bottom corner...

  • @gern2010 I mean left

  • Reminds me a bit of the Herald of Free Enterprise ferry disaster in 1987 in Zeebrugge, that was also down to human error.

  • All of this death and destruction of property, and a possible environmental disaster, was caused by one man's poor judgment (like the Exxon Valdez). Why weren't there safeguards in place? Aren't ship's routes tracked? How could he go off course, as he did, with no one knowing about it until it was too late?

  • This is why I stay subscribed to RT

  • Incredable gash! I could throttle that " El Capitano-Stupido!!!

  • stoopid dago wop greaseball skipper needs to burn like tomato sauce

  • theres always a desperate baboon on hand 2 do dirty job 4 dozen coppers

  • Did the Rescue team give up in 2:03

  • 10 years in jail for each life lost.

  • There could be people trapped inside in some water proof compartments and this type of ship has many, also lots of food and beverages are on board so possible that some could survive a long time.

The countries which have people missing should send in their experts to search and rescue before blowing up doors and risking to drown people that could still be alive inside.

  • typical italian showboating, "oy bro check out my ride", bang straight into rocks

  • Oh no my luggage.....and my heart of the ocean...

  • "so tell me good captain. how does it feel, to be driven away from your own steering wheel?"

    (captain beefheart "my oh my")

  • He must be the shittest ever 'captain'

Hope they throw the book at him

  • OMG

  • the main problem is that back home (italy) is all a matter of whom you know and not what you know. This is the evidence that incompetent people have responsible role when they should not!

Thats why lots of skilled individuals lately left italy...

  • OIL IN THE WATER no way. catching is they GOAL, ROFL

  • Fucking subhuman italian pieces of shit cant drive boats for sh*t.

  • My girlfriend left me because she wouldn't believe that I slipped and fell dick first into some other girl.

  • Comment removed

  • What beautiful blue water.

  • @dapop1001 not anymore dude.. too much grease..

  • kool, so this was an insurance job?

  • Thanks for reporting RT

  • The captain said he was tossed out of ship at the exactly moment of impact and landed directly and straight to life boat? O_O x_x O.O O.o *.* >.>

  • this accident reminds me of that old joke about european nationalities where the italians end up organizing everything

  • @jradetzky hahhahahaha

  • Tipped over cruise ship looks real creepy to me...

  • though this is wrong dont you guys relize that this feels a bit set up.....italians want to dump all 2,000 tones of petro into the waters...elven peopled killed...ever ever strange

  • @MrSheankyChewY Firstly, no. It was a simple case of the guy steering fucking sucks at his job. Secondly, there were no elves killed, not sure where you got the news that "elven people" were killed there.

  • fillipinos, greek and italians don`t make good sailors

  • @2squares

    That's selective racism and lie!

  • Captain of Concordia:"I accidentally found myself in one of rescue boats,I was commandeering the ship in moment of accident(in reality he was in the restaurant),I suddenly fell from the ship into the rescue boat",LOL :-)

  • its all fun in games untill your ship runs aground and flips.. then its funny as hell for every one else.

  • That is how the U.S are going to rescue, when the Aircraft carrier is sunk by IRAN LOL.

  • @unreal672003 You are joking? Lmfao. Only thing iran can sink is there own country.

  • The men working on the rescue must feel like heroes.

  • i'm sure that was the kind of captain who takes his licence from a cereal box. According to the news this guy had similar incidents. He is the kind of "i don't give a fck" guy.

  • man how the fuckin captian didnt see the rocks at the coast from hes view u can see the shore

  • COSA NOSTRA

  • He said that he slipped into a life boat?.. Yeah, I slipped on ice, fell down a hole and met sid the sloth.

  • @strathmann2007 of course he slipped, but he didnt say is that he had also lined it up as he was sliding down his sinking ship.

classic pirate move so i give him a 9.5 out of 10 for accuracy

  • I want to know the exact depth of the water where the ship rests.

  • @marksp22 70 meters

  • They should have a public drowning of the captain, that would be hilarious

  • The Captain should of stopped fucking around going near the border or at the little mountain to say hi to old friends, and instead focused on his job.

No to mention the getaway he pulled after the ship crashed. Your job is the resposibility of all the persons on board, not planning a getaway-story after pulling off in a lifesaving boat.

  • @Shqiptarivertet the captain was either pissed, or screwing one of the passngers. italians have navigated those waters for thousands of years and know the area back to front, every rock, every reef. the fact that the captain managed to let this happen means that he was definitly not doing his job, and most likely wasn't even monitering where the ship was going.

he said he was pushed too, he actually jumped in to save himself and was forced by the coast guard to get back on board

  • @Shqiptarivertet then yet trains often image the fantastic station near the railway

  • @Shqiptarivertet

He said how he heroically gave his life west to passengers fleeing the stricken vessel, oooooooo that just might help him get off the hook for murdering 40 people for show cruising.

  • If anyone has watched the start of the movie titled "2012" it came out a few years ago.

Well if you noticed in the opening of the movie, in India, where that little kid is playing with his toy ship, it tips over, the ship looks exactly like the Concordia, the relevance is that, that scene really plays no significant role in the movie, that scene was an outlier, conspiracy? jew?

  • @ThePunisherNWO nonononon you got it all wrong, it's the lizards from the fourth dimension!!!

  • @ThePunisherNWO not just that but listen to what the nut job at Yellow Stone Parks says, he gives a list of order of how things will go... and its crazy but it seems like its happening...

  • @ThePunisherNWO

You must be incredibly paranoid to have connected those two things. I just watched the scene again - the ship is knocked over by the car driving through the rainwater... are you implying then that this ship was knocked over by a gigantic car driving over the ocean? Or is it just that one random movie had a kid with a toy boat that bared some slight resemblance to this ship... and it too fell over in water. Wow. You've got it all figured out. Clearly an Illuminati conspiracy.

  • @Vire70

No retard it clearly is a conspiracy, i feel sorry for shit heads who are close minded like you, now begone troll.

  • @ThePunisherNWO

Lmao. Have fun w/ that imagination.

  • OMG i have to do it 1...... the captain is a ass

  • @ghghdz i'm italian and i tell you that Italy has an amount of people so...in command (politic, services, public administration and other)
