spaying/neutering your rabbit is not the problem. The problem is that the pet owner is not being responsible. They either don't get them fixed, OR They drop them off at a shelter. It is not the breeders fault that the buyer doesn't keep them for life. There are MANY free classified websites ie. Craigslist, that the buyer COULD list their unwanted Rabbit on for free to a good home, and people would take them. But instead they do the cruelest thing and drop them off at a shelter.
I see why you worry about this, But i bought my bunny from my naigbor because he was going to kill it... In the summer i let it out in a special cage we built, it has one side for shade and another with sun, He loves to lay in the shade and he never bit anyone, we move the cage couple times a day across our yard, he loves fresh grass and carrots!!
please adopt a shelter rabbit . do NOT buy from pet stores. breeders are not what we need when there are thousands of rabbits in rescues who need loving homes. spay your rabbit and neuter !!!
I got a bunny TODAY!!! WOOOOOOOO!!!!!! I love him his name is foo foo! after that little bunny foo foo song my mom said she always sang that song to me when I was little he's a baby baby I got him from pet super market.... he's SO kawaii (cute in japanese) I love my foo foo and thanks mommy! valentines bunny! but I am dedicated to taking care of foo foo I did NOT get him just because of the holiday. I got him cuz I wanted him
Hi I was hopeing to buy a rabbit, but my mom want's to buy a low price, scared, jumpy, and and a lot of other things, and this petstore has no returns. There are nicer rabbits with better oats that let me pet them, but I can't convince my mother...help please.
Hello i have a 4 year old rabbit. Currenty i have a really bad cold and was not sure if my cold could be transmitted to my little fur-ball. And info you may have would be loved by the both of us. Thanks, Kyle & sadie (<--rabbit)
Hey how many pets do you have? Your so lucky that you could have pets! But im hopefelly getting a rabbit in the weekends. Any tips of taking care of rabbits? Like Do's and Don't s?
u should take off the bottom off the cage, and place him with the cage outside for like 30 or 1 hour a day so he can eat some fresh grass, rabbits love fresh grass
i don't let him out b/c of erylichea in the soil. google this disease and read as much as you can about it. i had a rabbit with the disease and it is horrible. it comes from dirt.
no particular breed. was sold as a dwarf but doesn't have the rounded dwarf face. she was a great bunny. she was almost ten when she died. i loved her very much..
you should let them run around in your room as long as there's nothing for it to get hurt on. like i let my hamster in a room where there's not electricity accept for the light. so it can't chew on cords and get electucuted or however you spell it.
bunnys DOO bitee. If there are mmm about bout 4 months are old anuff to see what sex she//he is if you can see it thann you can feed her//him some fruit and stuff. babys buns can have hay alfla, grass, food NOTHING ELSE IN THE FOOD BT THE MORSELS!! and thats it. fresh clean cool water every day. 1-3 hr. playtime.
i found my bunny out on the street and had him for a month, never bit anyone would watch tv with me everyday, and then one day my sis left the cage door open (he lives outside in a cage) so he ran away, finnaly 3 weeks later, found him in my backyard, wuz the best thing in my life!!!
my rabbit went inside the couch and iit took me 4 hours to get her out and i started crying.sometimes i wonder wat its like if my rabbit dies plz god let my rabbit stay with me shes my best friend
i had to train my dogs and rabbits to get along. once the dog realizes he will get a treat for "being nice to the bunny", they then will be nice, and look UP for a treat instead of wanting to hurt the bunny. my beagle used to get in cynthia's cage and they would lie together. he would lick the bunny's face. they were the best of friends. my blk lab also used to get in her cage and groom the bunny. the bunny LOVED that! but don't ever leave bunnies out of cage unsupervised. too many dangers!!
awe that sux. I have a bunny to and if she ever died it would really be hard for me cuz shes my little bunny(bunbuns) shes very cute too! whats bunny tea? aw i feel bad now cuz immaking a big bunny hutch with a run pen at the bottom but shes really close to our house and im only gunna keep her outside in the summer so we'll be out there a lot keeping her company!! anyway ennuf blabing for me!! thx for the vid!!! (\__/) ( ^.^) ( () ()) theres a bunny! _(____)}_
yes, she died mid march 2008. she was a little over 9 1/2 yrs old. one of the best friends i've ever had. we were very close and i tried to give her the best bunny care possible. we miss her so much.
remember the shelters have great rabbits, many of whom were just thrown out by people who got tired of them. i saw some beautiful rabbits at the pound when i was there over the years adopting dogs. remember your rabbit will be healthier if he /she lives inside with the family and do NOT leave alone near electric cords. i always supervised my bunnies when out of cage exercising (daily). they can get into real trouble (like getting inside the couch etc) if you aren't careful !!
"goooooood griiillll!!!!!!" dog was like: *man if i had a nickle every time i heard that...
