I do Karate, judo and i practice full contact & kick boxing and one thing i´ve learned for sure, is that it does not matter how you flip the stick around, it´s how hard you can hit with it and how much damage you can do. I´m sick of watching people dancing with weapons... show me that you can use one, not that you can spin it with your eyes closed.

Lol... I still don't understand why they teach the kids to scream all the time. However, his skills are amazing. The speed and precision of his movements are aoutstanding. His sparring skills are probably sub-par. However, he is only eleven with his amazing speed and technique he could be come a great fighter. This kid has a bright future in karate, he'll probably be in the octagon when he becomes 18.

georgeou, you're right on. These yahoos have open tournements because they couldn't compete in AAU tourneys. When I judge AAU tourneys and they start that screaming their names and schools and style bullshit we just thank them and dismiss them. They can't spar, their forms are shit and their etiquette is non-existent. They're a bunch of screaming dancers. It's annoying.

Oh and if anyone's wondering, people who do form competitions will probably beat the hell out of an average person on the street, but they won't do well in any full contact sport like K1 kickboxing, Muay Thai, or MMA unless they actually trained in it. People who do form are probably more suited for the movies though.
