  • sounds tight..

  • i have a question if you do not mind, if i remove the catalytic conveter from my car does that harm the car or might cause over heating.

  • it will not harm nor over heat your car if you remove the catalytic converters. But, you will have to upload a tune that turns off the O2 sensors, or your check engine light will come on.

  • dude, it sounds great

  • i wanna see that verses a terminator!

  • thats great you got all that for free, why is it that the dealership couldt sell the car with those aftermarket parts, do you know?

  • because those parts didnt hav a catalytic converter on them from wut i understand and it is illegal for any car that is not registered as a classic car to not hav a catalytic converter

  • your soo lucky getting those parts for free!!

  • go bassani

  • maybe some cherry bomb glasspacks, they are also round and straight through design and have a fiberglass packing. they are about the cheapest mufflers you can buy. they got a real throaty raspy sound.

    here is a sound/exhaust/mufflers clip of them on a 1966 ford galaxie 289 V8.

    youtube. com/watch?v=93PmeABiH6s

  • what mufflers u got on that car

  • Flowmaster American Thunder mufflers. but I am considering going to non-chambered mufflers. Dynomax or something similar with fiberglass packing.

  • ya i got a 01 with magnaflow o/r x and magnapack mufflers which is round and straight through im thinkin about header for it now

  • just take them out and runs just straight pipes

  • Nice deal; why can't they resale the parts?

  • they cant because of emissions. not that them keeping the car is preventing global warming lol.

it makes em feel better i guess

  • how do they pass the emissions inspection every year then?

  • Florida doesn't have emisions inspections. just the yearly vehicle registration.

  • cant you get a tuner to turn off the oxygen sensor so that it can pass emission standards?

  • i dont think tuners can, but i don't honestly know off the top of my head. that could be something to check out at tuners websites and stuff.

  • @Heezy2090 American Muscle sells an MIL Eliminator that plugs into the o2 sensors to send the correct signal. But idk if it will pass emissions i have a BBK o/r X on my stang and havent done the MIL but they do have them.
