Honda CBR1000 Performance Exhaust Pipes

I didnt' know much about this company with previous bikes but my most recent purchase, 2004 cbr1000rr came with a D&D pipe on it and it sounds great and the power feels great also. It's loud as as hell but i live in the country and need to be seen and hear while driving. Thanks D&D for a great product. And no I didn't get paid to write this. There are many good systems out there. Just givin props for a new product to me.

Dude, there's nothing to think about it!... a friend of mine bought a second hand 2008 CBR 1000RR and he's happy owner of it. This bike is awesome. Lot of power anytime, precision cornering, comfortable riding, exelent air dynamics, low fuel consumption and many more...

There's no better way to spend your money, you'l see it.

go to autozone or whatever you have and get some Water Wetter. or something similar, it makes the antifreeze work better. keeps temps down. it will always get hot in traffic tho, thats why it has a cooling fan. once the bike has about 6,000 miles on it you should then switch to better oil, preferably some good synthetic, or synthetic blend. and for the record, if that is going to be your first bike....get a 600rr not a 1000rr. you wont want that much power to start out on.

They were derived from the rcv211v. They copied the design basically. It's obviously not gonna be as fast, but thats what they copied the design off. The most successful moto gp bike ever.

Probably a stupid question, but the angle of the pipes is so high up... whats going to happen when its raining or something? Wont water or other random particulates be able to fall inside the hole of the pipes while riding? Hmm...

The exhaust will have some kind of block, which will prevent the engine from flooding if the bike got left outside in a rainy day.
