  • I tried to date some girls, but no girl give me a chance even to be a friend. Hope you reply.

  • I would like to think that it does not matter. Unfortunately, it does for some. I look for the person and what they think, feel and do. What they look like is very much secondary. Sure, some of what attracts me is the look of a person but I find so many things interesting that there is no telling what will strike my fancy, disabled or not.

  • it don' think it matter when it comes to dating disabled or not,as long you love the person

  • I wish I can meet you and tell you what you really need to do so that you don't call yourself disabled. You are still young, there is still allot of hope to get cured if you try. Call Jesus to get you out of this grave of blindness.

  • I have Spina Bifida, and almost all of the girls ive been in serious relationships with or been seriously interested in have been able bodied- however, this doesn't mean I wouldn't date a disabled person, its just who I've been around. You don't look for whether the person has a disability or not, you look for love.

  • I tried some of those disabled dating sites.. I think its great for everyone who wants to find true love.. I'm looking for someone too I think Disabled Dating is the best thing ever =)

  • @SupportAlexJones i agree with you as you saw in my bid , you have a good atutude and thts good, you have a simlimar atitude and mind set as myself. nice to meet you thanks for commenting and watching my video. i am actually goign away to guide dog school tuesday. receving my first guide dog i can't wait.

  • @jls1114 Oh cool.. Well I wish you best of luck and hope you have a wonderful time.. I never do any stuff like that i'm always stuck at home LOL. I live in new hampshire and it sucks haha.. I hate new england ugh... lmao

  • @SupportAlexJones wow i never met anyoen who lived near me on youtube thats cool. i live in new englad too. most of the time im stuck in the house as well. i don't get out that much. i tryto as much as possible. i live in massachusetts, which is nto far from new hamshire at all. what part of new hampshire you live in if you don't mind me asking .

  • @jls1114 I live in Somersworth New Hampshire I am like an hour away from Boston i believe its an hour LOL.. I don't really get out much either heck I wish I could drive it makes me so mad that some of my friends who CAN drive choose not to i'm like wtf is with you lmao.. So I have my back ups on transportation though.

  • I Believe that if someone is disabled they should date someone with a disability. in my case I have Asperger's a form of autism. It's sad I can't find my other half. I need someone who is disabled. I will date anyone who is disabled who can understand my needs. It doesn't matter to me if the person can drive or not because I can't I drive due to my disability. I hope this helps you out a bit.

  • i have cp and my gf is not disabledat all so ask me anything :)

  • i have athetoid cerebral palsy. i personally dont have a preference between able-bodied guys & disabled guys. ideally, i would like 2 date some1 whos more able than i am cuz there would be no way id be able 2 take care of them when i cant take care of myself.

  • @powerchairchick Thats understandable.. I am blind in one eye and I cannot drive but I know how to take care of myself and take care of others regardless if I can't drive or if I could.. I think I would be happier dating a disabled person because we both could relate to one another instead of an abled body person.. its just my opinion

  • btw,, my brother made a video of the guys side of this elt me knwo what u think of that

  • i see it this way you take me the way i am or forget you, thats how i see it. i should not have to lower my standards im staying true to me. im not settling thats just me. if it emans im alone and it stays that way gecasue o well so be it.

  • from a a guy's point of view, it doesn't really matter if ur disabled, as long as ur hot. if ur not hot, then well... u need to accept ur limits. but this is generally true for any average girl.

  • @skeptic9991 thank u for your comment, i do belive your right with some guys think this way. but most guys i feel if you don't have the personality to match it and the right disability they won't care how hott u are they will still not want u. i belive there are disabilities guys don't want to deal with no matter what.

  • @jls1114

well yea personality is a factor, but if a guy passes up a girl who is hot and has a good personality, just cuz of a certain disability, they r really stupid. those guys u just dont deal with.

plus ur not alone. even able bodied ppl have trouble dating. there r many ppl out there, without disabilities, in the same position. love is hard. if u can't find a person of a certain standard, then well u may need to consider lowering ur standards more.

  • I'm sick of being fed the false freak pride bullshit. If it was all a matter of choice, we would choose attractive able-bodied mates, being disabled renders that all the less likely. You take what you can get, plain and simple.

  • Are you calling disabled people freaks? I have cerebral palsy and will it be harder for me to find someone? Probably. But I see myself as a person first, I'm not just going to completly throw myself at the first girl that shows any intrest in me. She could be a bitch, a whore or goldiggger or just a bad person.

Calling yourself a freak and taking the first thing that comes along is just setting yourself up to be burned.

  • being disabled isnt fun, ive known that my whole life. And i was able to get able bodied dates because you cant see my disabilities. But once they were found out, the relationships ended. So now i mostly date disabled women because they understand.

  • I do understand some don't feel comfortable talking sex. Sex comes into play though, it is an issue to consider. Now someone as disabled as me or unable to move thier body around, sex would be very very difficult. I personally would need to be very comfortable w/ someone assisting us to have sex, it would be very awkward, sex is normally a very private thing. Truthfully, I do want sex in my relationships. I do admit, a fully able-bodied person could have sex with me much easier.

  • Ya I got everything you said, very very true. I got muscular dystrophy. I really don't care either, able-bodied or disabled. Even though I'm just getting to the point where I'm comfortable being with another disabled person. I'm very disabled, I can't really do anything by myself physically, accept use my mouse on my computer, like now. I would like the disabled person to be more able than me. At least able to lean to me to kiss me or give me other affection. 2nd post i'll go on more.

  • Great video, you're right on, it's love that should be what's important. I'll definately be sharing this video.

  • its all about love regardless.

  • I agree with you. It's not a factor for me in who I date, just like I don't care about race or gender I don't care about disabled vs. able-bodied either. -nid2008

  • I had a girlfriend who (like myself) has Epilepsy. Together, we thought of each other as equals regardless of the fact we can't drive. Buther parents felt she desserved someone better, and called the Police to make me stay away. It went to court, and I was told that since our IQ is around a Grade 9 level, we're physically adults, but mentally children, and children cannot give consent to be sexual. That doesn't mean we can't be friends. It means we're not allowed to have sex. Case closed.

  • that is one of the msot rediculous things i have ever heard, i cannot belive that, i am so sorry you guys had to go through that, people who don[t suffer from a disability don't understand us. who cares if u you have a lower iq you guys were good for o9ne another that is so crazy and wrong. that pisses me off that they did that to you guys, this is just uncalled for. if you could use another friend to relate to just as far as someone who has a disability keep in touch with me if you would like.

  • i prefer a disabled person cuz i feel like i can idetify with them but with that bein said i wouldnt care as long as i like them

  • @MatthewFordVictoria

The court ruling is bs, The age of consent laws probably do not specify age as a mental age, but a birth date. File an appeal on that.

  • I think that it shouldn't matter whether a person is disabled or not.You should date whomever you want without considering disability. You don't want to miss out on something wonderful.

  • i like the way you think unfornately lots of people do not think and have that atitude and thats very unfornate

  • Exellent!

  • Loved the vid! :D
