Go on imdb.com and type In Bruges, then go to the trivia section. Go to the very bottom and it tells you that he did'nt die.

@alexfilma16 It's not in the movie, and therefore didn't happen. They left the ending ambiguous and it turned out to be one of the greatest endings of all time. So good for them :)

from the beginning of this movie, to the moment he dies, i can't help but tear up at everything Brendan Gleeson does or says. The moment when he drags himself up to the top of the bell tower and looks over and all the fog is there..omg..I cried so much..Probably too much. ;)
