Actually the crash was "near" Valdez. The city wasn't hit. It is so amazingly beautiful. I didn't see anyone speaking French in Norway. Mostly the native tongue and English. But many people speak many languages. My sister in law knew 9 languages. Check out my video of Norway. It's pretty there.

Texas. I just visit Norway. But this was Alaska. Down south in Valdez.
