The PS3 has better features but a small game library. The Ass Box Three Shitty has a little bit larger game library and way better online play, but the problems on it are unbareable.

Problems: Red Ring of Death Horrible Disc Reader Scratches up games and ruins them often Freezes easily If you barely touch it or move it while it's on it will literally destroy whatever disc is inside of it (if the game is running) PS3's features that the Xbox doesn't have Playstation Home Blu-ray player Built-in WiFi Internet Browser Motion controls on some games Ability to run linux Ect I like my Xbox 360 more because of the game library and Xbox Live, but the PS3 just has better features.

Freezing/3 Rings of death/Red ring of Death only happens in 5% of xbox 360s or 1 out of 20 xboxs have it!!! and if those numbers dont make you happy Try 5 out of 100 and 50 out 1000!!!!! so if you do get that 50/1000 Xbox 360, That Sucks and im sorry but Save up and buy another 1 and after you have an xbox for a year and hardly freezez up (it can freeze up but more like 1 time a week or 1 time a month) you have a good xbox 360!!!!!

This is NOT the way to fix (R)ROD!! Goddamnit! I works with these everyday and fixes ROD every day. It's a dirty trick to fix ROD, you need to remove the screws and add some plastic to not add a presure just on the middle on the GPU. My english suck, so I will not go in any deeper on how to do, but feel free to contact me to ask.

to prevent RROD:

step 1:buy a fan

step 2:open the top of your xbox360

step 3:put the fan facing the top of your xbox360

And like magic your xbox should be cool and ready to go. Also put it in a well ventilated area where breeze comes and goes.bye :P

THE BEST SOLUTION IS NOT TO PLAY THE WHOLE DAY AND NIGHT AND BE A FUCKING NERD,DONT PUT THE XBOX INTO A drawer or something dont leave it running while u are not playing with it...Well I think Playing like 4hours...ok 5 hours ..then taking a 4 hour break .... than again ..etc wont really harm the xbox and no fucking rrod bullshit

Often the RROD is caused by crappy component soldering. By taking it apart, I caused whatever component that was shorting to "work itself out."

Note the description - simply taking it apart WORKED FOR ME. It may not work for you.

By taking it apart, it corrected the problem.

This probably does the same thing that "baking" the xbox in a bunch of towels does (other people have videos on that technique): the components heat up and settle in better to the Motherboard holes.

Who knows? Like I said in the description, at least you can see how to take it apart if you want to mod it.
