  • Davies needs to return to the US National Team.

  • Lmao Mexico won that game :D

  • and the mexico wins :) haha show mexicos 1st goal

  • six mexicans saw this video

  • 153 Comments and nobody has given props to Donovan for that amazing pass that set up this awesome goal by Charlie Davies.

  • Everyone, I reenacted this using fifa 11, go watch! :D /watch?v=2GiDPDq-LNg

  • Ah that boy Charlie!!!

  • U.S SOCCER world cup history since 1990

    1990 U.S fails to win a game

1994 U.S makes it to round of 16

    1998 U.S fails to win a game

2002 U.S makes a good run into the quarter finals

    2006 U.S fails to win a game

2010 U.S comes in first in their group and makes it to round of 16

    2014 I think were screwd ;(

  • @lssj5broly1 We will win it in 2014. Stop being negative!

  • Comment removed

  • @lssj5broly1 Dude.... You have no idea whats coming... It looks like we have the deepest team coming up so far... With a new coach that has been to the WC semis... Relax... Midfield is STACKED... If Aguedelo or Altidore really develops it will be awesome... If not we have Dempsey and Donovan or 4 years to find another guy or two to step in... Chandler and Lichaj are promising... Onyewu is recovering and playing well again... Ream has some serious potential... Give it time

  • @iburs354 did you get my message?

  • @iburs354 not to mention stuart holden recovering from his injury... and maybe charlie davies making a return to the national team....

  • @iburs354 Not to mention other up and coming defenders like Omar Gonzalez, George John. And how about Josh Gatt? Looks great right now, very fast. AND Brek Shea! Ohhh yeahhhh

  • @iburs354 WE ALOS HAVE STUWART HOLDEN N JOSH GATT N JOSE FRANCISCO TORRES. N FABIAN JONHSON SO we have the perfect coach to develop our new generation of young players into a new AMERICAN ATTACKIGN STYLE... cant wait

  • @lssj5broly1

yea but we got juergen klinsmann

  • At 0:12, the guy speaking is a former US MNt defender from WC '94. He is Marcelo Balboa and voted some awesome chilenas! Look it up

  • AHAHAH FUNNY HOW USA ALWAYS BLOWS THERE LEADS WITH TEAMS..THEY SCORE FIRST YET THEY END UP LOSEING.

  • 4-2 lol WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS!!!

  • Get healthier Chili! We need you back!

  • The lines on the field look so weird.

  • we miss davies!!!!!

  • @TheAtrain817 what happened to Davies anyway

  • @RAZOPOWERRP Davies now plays for DC united an MLS team. I saw him play last week :)

  • i like mexican announcers enthusiasm

  • @Meech0w andres cantor is actually argentinian :D

  • God British announcers are so much better than both Spanish and American announcers who never shut up. You need space. It's NOT radio. You can see what's going on. You don't have to talk all the time. Instead of gooooooooloool I love how the British often just say "oh my what an amazing goal". That's how it should be.

  • @simonbnyc No. That's how you think it should be.

  • Davies,Altidore and Holden need to step up their game

  • i hope Charlie Davies gets back at his level. Because that Chicharito guy is a player Mexico hasn't had since they had Hugo Sanchez. Gio Dos Santos and Nery Castillo are crap compare to Chicharito. Come on U.S stop depending on Donovan and Dempsey you need new talent.

  • @Freshnewz10 dont worrie the usa has recruted a new young talented columbian rookie who has already scored 2 goals with the usmnt he scored 1 against south africa and against argentina

  • @Freshnewz10 im sorry but with out dempsey and donovan usa is CRAP!

  • @Kingofjune90 wrong

  • @7thAFC wrong????its a fact! did u see the game against chile in january??the usa barely scored and they scored from a penalty.

  • What's with the Zebra stripes on the field? Anyway, hope to see Charlie at the Gold Cup and a repeat performance against Mexico in the final.

  • Castro's goal makes that one look like nothing

  • GOOOL MCDONALDS.

    lol

  • i was crying for joy but when they made the the first goal i was nervous then i cried

  • haha that guy talking was interrupted by charlie davies haha

  • for those who wonder why we scream goal for 20-45 seconds is because a goal in soccer is like:

-a swish across the entire court (NBA)

    -14 touchdowns/homeruns in a row (NFL/MLB)

    -etc. :P

  • we need you back charlie

  • Charlie Davies is a Chicharito for USA!!!

  • GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOooooooooooooOOOOOOOOOL......Oso

  • Spanish announcers > any american announcers

    USA ALL THE WAY

  • @GHsoccerjoe23 English announcers >Spanish announcers

  • @whydelilah08 Not even close!

    Spanish announcers are the best!

  • @misfitsg17

takes a lot of education and talent to just say 'Gooooooooooooooooooooooool'

  • @whydelilah08 Yeah, and it's so original, too. The best announcers are the Brits. I love listening to their accents and each goal they have something new to say instead of goooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool

  • @GHsoccerjoe23 the american announcers suck

  • @misfitsg17 absolutely right, american announcers totally blow ass, but the british/scottish announcers are fucking great

  • @fickole They suck too!

The best are Pablo Ramirez and Jesus Bracamontes

  • @misfitsg17 dude Pablo Ramirez and Jesus Bracomentes fucking suck!!

All they talk about is food and sending hello's to random people

  • @7footballfanatic7 What? They're the most exciting ones!

There's a reason Univision picked them to be the announcers for the World Cup!

  • @misfitsg17 Hell No especially not that big fat one I forget which one he is; He spends 80% of the match talking about random crap and 20% actually narrating the game

  • @fickole Scottish maybe British hell no

  • @7footballfanatic7 well yeah you're right about that too, but listen i'm talking from an american's perspective here.. i actually just watched the MLS season opener (galaxy vs seattle sounders) and i believe ian darke was alongside one of the crappy american announcers for the whole game. this made it WAAAAAY more exciting in my opinion. whether it be english, spanish, or scottish doesn't matter, my point is that american announcing for football(soccer) doesn't compare to any of the rest..

  • @GHsoccerjoe23 Andres Cantor is the exception.

  • @GHsoccerjoe23 yeeeeeeeesssss.. haha isnt there a us announcer who does that.. but i agree i watch all my games in spanish cuz i love the announcers

  • I know a lot of people will hate me for this but I like Mexico and the USA national teams. (I have family from Mexico and have some Latino heritage)

  • My name is charlie davies aswell omg

  • God we could have used him in South Africa

  • @dstylegamer15 u think u are all big cuz u are talkin shit on youtube lol yea u are so tough lol thats your typical mexican talkin shit from somewhere where he knows hes safe lol by that way dstylegamer15 suck my big fuckin USA DICK LOL....

  • Need Charlie to get back and fit and recover his form!

  • USA missed Charlie Davies during the World Cup!! I Want 2014 to be here already!! lol cant wait, hopefuly he'll be better by then

  • What makes this video even better is if you click the vuvuzela button... ^^^

  • 1-0 to McDonalds

  • This kind of finishing is why we so needed Davies at the world cup. Robbie Findley can't finish, he couldn't score against Ghana when he was 1v1 with the goalkeeper...

  • @carlitosliu charlie davis sucks compared to giovanni dos santos.

  • @dstylegamer15 what has giovanni dos santos done?

  • @doadoomzday won a u-17 world cup ,gold cup 2009,as an individual player he won under-17 silver ball, under-20 bronze ball, 2009 gold cup VIP and play's for better teams Tottenham, Barcelona,Galatasary. what has Charlie Davis done he plays for a team called Sochaux never heard of it lol

  • @dstylegamer15 does he show his accomplishments on the pitch!??! no i dont care about all the awards he won and shit he doesnt play better on the world stage like cgarlie does

  • @dstylegamer15 barcelona got rid of him. galatasary didn't want him. and he's struggling at tottenham. he won a gold cup 2009 against the US C team. sucks too because that gold cup doesn't really count for anything. i mean its not like you're gonna be going to the confed cup right? meanwhile, charlie davies is on the up. starred at boston college. starred for hammarby, and now is plying his trade in france. i thought gio would be the answer to landon donovan. thank god i was so wrong haha

  • @doadoomzday the French league isn't that great its alright but not great ,and gio left Barcelona because he didn't get enough playing time, has a hard time in tottenham because he got injured and they don't give him playing time.and Donovan is getting old and is not as fast as gio.

  • @dstylegamer15 donovan is 28. he's in his prime and he's faster than gio. gio is really quick....but back to gio, yes, he couldn't get into the barca 11, same for tottenham.....the dude gets loaned to ispwich and now looks set that tottenham is gonna get rid of him permantly to sporting lisbon....

  • @doadoomzday and do you think he'll be in the next world cup 2014 he'll be 32, gio will be 25 and , plus gio isn't the best young player mexico has more like Carlos vela(arsenal), Javier Hernandez(Manchester united), Pablo Barrera(west ham), Andres guardado(Deportivo la coruna), Efrain Juarez(Celtic),

Hector Moreno(Az alkmaar) Mexico has a future but so does USA with micheal bradley and jozy altidore, but not with Charlie and London

  • @dstylegamer15, dude Barrera and Gio were the stand outs at the world cup for mexico.

Trust me, you'll be hearing more about Davies in a couple of years, and not for bad things.

The world cup will come to north america soon, it is imminent.

  • @doadoomzday lol US C team that cracks me up everytime

  • @dstylegamer15, dude Galatasaray I had never heard of before Gio moved there. Who follows the turkish league besides Turks?? Gio started from the top and moved his way down a little bit, but now Gio ir regaining his form, and could return to a bigger club. Davies on the other hand, has been working his way from the bottom to the top, he began playing for Boston College, then for a second division team in the US, then he moved to Swedish club Hammerby, now he plays for Sochaux, what's next?

  • @infinteuniverse Hagi played for them.

  • @infinteuniverse

I hate the Mexican team as much as the next guy, but to say that nobody follows the Turkish league just makes us American fans look retarded and ignorant. They has a quarter finalist in the 2008 champions league for christs sake.

  • @8USMNT17, You said "They has" and you're talking about retarded. I never said noone follows the Turkish league, I said "Who follows the Turkish league besides Turks?" Really, do you personally know anyone who follows that league that isn't turkish? Who gives a damn if American fans care or know about the Turkish league, don't be so self conscious.

  • @infinteuniverse

When Jozy Altidore goes there next week, I hope you care about the Turkish league...

  • @8USMNT17, We have American players playing in scottland, sweden, denmark etc etc. and I don't really care about those leagues, I doubt I will follow altidore either.

  • @infinteuniverse

Oh, ok I see you just tune in every 4 years for the world cup i get it now.

  • @8USMNT17, Why would I go around caring about the Turkish league when we have our own league here in the US? My favorite team is the LA Galaxy. I like to watch Barcelona games and tune in to Premier League games if I have the time. I watch champion league games when I can. I try not to miss any of the US's friendly games. I simply don't care much about other leagues that aren't the MLS, Premier League, La Liga BBVA, or Mexican Primera Division.

  • @infinteuniverse

DC United, and then whatever team an American is on. Sochaux, Fullham, Everton ect.

  • @8USMNT17, good then. I occasionally check on the standings of teams that Americans are in, I just don't go the extra mile to look up news and highlights of teams in leagues that don't appeal so much to me. BTW I heard Altidore will play(or played) in a Villareal friendly, hopefully he stays at Villareal.

  • @8USMNT17 btw, I don't hate the Mexican national team.

  • Hope fully Charlie Davies will be able to play against Brazil. We will automatically lose if we have Findley or Buddle. Altidore always plays good when Davies is playing. Check out other USA highlights while Davies was playing and you will see what I mean.

  • Charlie is ten times better than Jozy, and he has a stable club situation, I hope Davies recovers and returns to the awesome player we know he is.

  • too bad he wasnt at the wc

  • @mrms3 yea i know especially that break away altidore had against england that he miss and the one against ghana that he kept falling and falling and shooting like a retard if that was davies usa win those games.

  • @Taywarit13 yeah you are right we didnt seem together with out him in that lineup..

  • what does gol asol mean?

  • @quinnyb1886 GOLAZO! What a goal, basically.

  • Hopefully we will have Charlie Davies back to play against Brazil in August 10. Pretty much one year after this match. He will score again.

  • who cares about charlie davies (no offense to soccer fans im jk) its all bout andres cantor and the vuvezeulas!!!

  • @GamingsecretsTV

Fuck You. Lol Jk. But your kind of right. I watched this video to hear Andres Cantor, but I chose THIS video specifically to see Davies. He is one of my favorite strikers.

  • @s0ccer96 i just like hearing andres yell GOOOOAAAAAALLLLL for 15 minutes consecutively. LOL

  • @GamingsecretsTV

    Pablo Ramirez is better

  • confident finishing like this was just what we were missing against ghana :(

  • @natenasty111

We would still be in the World Cup right now if we had Davies. I think Altidore doesn't play as good unless he has Davies to his side. They have such great Teamwork.

  • @s0ccer96 altidore play like a bitch. he kept falling trying to get cheap foul calls. and he kick and fell against ghana that went wide. y did he fall? no one touch him. and he had so many break away but he never finish. davies would finish because he ahd the same break away shot vs mexico and he shot it to an open spot where the goalie couldnt get it. unlike altidore who shot it right at the goalie. i could done that myself

  • @Taywarit13 youre exactly right, he sucks.

  • @Taywarit13

I can see from your point of view but you have to understand that when they get on that field in the WORLD CUP, they feel nervous. Some don't and some do and I can understand why some do because I get nervous when I play in my team.

  • @s0ccer96 but these guy are professional and 1st game everyone is alittle nerv but that should go away game 2 and 3. and the only one that was playing hard was donovan and dempsy. altidore just fell all over the field.

  • @Taywarit13 yes but u have to understand jozy is still just 20 years old imagine coming out of high school and go play with the best players of the world, in the world stage in front of thousands of people, give him a break he just 20, he got alot oftime to get better

  • @BoneCrusher56Ace who won?

  • Jeez, were we ever dying for a little of this against Ghana today. Hopefullly, CD( does it big in Brazil.

  • Charlie Davies should have been on the 2010 Fifa World Cup Team, USA really needed a striker who could put the ball through the net, that was Charlie Davies role

    Thanks for nothing Bob Bradley

USA should have made it to the seminfinals with their easy road

  • @LakeshowAA24 It had nothing to do with Bob Bradley. Davies' club wouldn't let him play because they felt he wasn't recovered from his injury.

  • Man I wish we had davies on the squad...See you in Brazil 2014

  • Huh? Did someone score a goal?

  • @laker24showtyme

    Yikes.

I agree with what you said. But the way you said it made you sound like you're the one in ESL.

  • yeah i know hes not going to be there

  • USA pwns at soccer

  • @PG13D15 Football!

  • @misfitsg17 does it matter same thing

  • @PG13D15 Not not really

  • @misfitsg17 well in america its called soccer

  • @PG13D15 Well its incorrect.

    What the hell is soccer?

  • @misfitsg17 i didnt make it up ok

  • @PG13D15 actually most of America is filled with spanish speaking countries so technically it is more well known as futbol.

  • @cruziero15 can u just let it go man its just a word

  • yeah thanks to bradly...we do have a great team with him on it..i think they try him out or give him a chance....june 1st is when the final roster has to be put out...

  • if we have charlie davies we go far in the worl cup garuanteed

  • @mrms3 Yeah, but we don't have Davies thanks to Bradley. He didn't even include him on the preliminary 30 man roster. I guess his club team won't give him medical clearance, which is part of it...Still...He is our best pure striker, and still has a month and a half to rehab himself. What was Bradley thinking? The World Cup is once every 4 years.

  • @mrms3 He isn't going

  • USA can't beat mexico in Azteca stadium and they won't for a long time. We still CONCACAF'S GIANT. USA has potencial to have a great football team and be one of the best in the world, the thing is u guys are so into beisball and american football and nobody really cares about football ''soccer'' when football is the #1 sport in the world hopefully it becomes #1 in the US one day on top of american football and MLB. Shit can you imagine that????

  • @Lu11sito Football is the number 1 sport in the world!

  • @Lu11sito last time i checked we won concacaf.. so how can mexico be the giant? i love soccer but it is kinda sad that its our number 4 sport in our country behind beasball, football and basketball but despite being number 4 we're still better than mexico, and soccer in mexico is number 1.

  • i would love to go to a match in mexico city between USA and mexico. im just afraid im gonna get stabbed or robbed because of some yahoo

  • @doadoomzday yeah you need real balls to live in mexico, if your looking for trouble in mexico your going to find it we don't play with white boys

  • @dstylegamer15 says the guy who is playing "toughy" on the internet lol

  • @doadoomzday u bet ur fukn ass u would!!!

  • @garciaoscar619 about what? id get stabbed/robbed if i went to mexico city?

  • @doadoomzday AO and Sams Army have an amazing package for the 1000 US fans that make the trip. At the game, going to the stadium and leaving it, you are protected by over 100 riot police officers. The only incident last year was when a broken beer bottle was thrown and hit some dude in the cheek, so it required about 5 stitches. That was it though.

  • @doadoomzday stop being scared and go already

  • @doadoomzday

Thats the fun of these matches.

  • @doadoomzday or get a bag filled with piss and shit thrown at you like they did to Donnie..

  • I don't care, I'm a hard core, next WC qualifier I'm going DTOM!

  • THAT BOY CHARLIE DAVIES!!!

  • Usa defended the rest of the way

  • beautiful goal!

  • i get goosebumpswatching this................. something was just wrong with that game

  • Man, this was one of the greatest goals scored in the history of U.S. soccer. There is no better sound than the sound of silence at Estadio Azteca.

  • seriously... i will definately be there next game in mexico

  • i want to go too, but it might be hard to get tickets...the usa-mexico games at azteca are ALWAYS sold out...i want to sit in the section with the mexicans

  • @sean2015 Not anymore after Donovan's last gasp! But CHARLIE DAVIES! With him... we would've gotten far.. and FINISHED goals as well! Ahhh... maybe next World Cup for sure!

  • Kings of the region! U.S.A. # 1

  • Most historic goal in CONCACAF history. Good job USA. You are another step closer to beating Mexico at Los Aztecas. I will be there when you finally beat them at home next year.

  • @JulioV48 actually the USA won't play Mexico at Azteca until 2013 (the next WC qualifying match).

But you're right - one day we will eventually beat the Mexicans on their home turf.

  • @sean2015 So true. Mexico hates to play USA at home because they are scared of finally losing in my opinion. Most times we try to schedule one, they back out. We can only play them by force, which is during the qualifiers, once every 4 years.

    -_-

  • @JulioV48 Well of course we would be worried because Mexico knows they have to win! because its home, and in The Azteca Stadium!

    USA has a good team.

  • sick ass shit
