i have a sr 50r with giannelli reverse, malossi multivar variator and malossi redsponge filter, sometimes i can wheelie but after landing if i pull the front brake the first time is a bit harder then goes normal, is that normal?

@Dille90 well, it's just a little bit harder but after one brake it turns normal... and when it's harder to pull the lever the braking power it's the same as ever
LeoVince is a exhaust that doesn't do better the performances.There are a lot of other exhausts that do so better the performances:Arrow Extreme,Giannelli Reverse,Stage 6 Pro Replica.

i dont now how big difference there are between uk and fin prices, but as a good rule u should maybe buy one which is from well known manufacture, dont recommend u to buy any chinese e.g. mine cost about 2500€, that's pretty much but gues it was worth it. on euros u get good from up to 1500€-xxxx, depends are u looking for a new or used one.
@Fairless55 an other tip is that if you get the aprilia sr 50 (new edition). then you can choose between the carburation-version and the injection-version. if you want to go fast you'd better get the injection ( you just hang it on a computer and you go at least 90 kmh (60milesphour, or maybe faster). if you want to go slowet than that, you'd better get the carburation.. just a few things changed and it goes 70-80..
it's on the mouth of the airbox, just remove that little pipe by using knife or some tool, it shouldnt cause any damage and u dont need to do it if ur scooter is stock.
it's a little plastic block which makes the whole smaller on the mouth of the box, u can remove it by just using ur fingers, or some tool. I dont know how much it helps, probably not really much. If chancing bigger mainjett u can try and remove it to find better settings. :P
of course, but variator setups that are most important, this LX pipe is pretty good for stunting, because it gives good power on low RPM, but it's not good when looking for good top end.

if ur having pretty same level set ups as i have chancing air filter wont give u a lot more power, i gues 0,3hp or less in max. :D can't u keep the front up because ur not just giving enough gas or ur not having enough big angle?
ty. :) u can't actually compare those 2 because they are so different, scooter is much more heavier but u dont have to work with ur legs so much because u give gas with ur hand. it's easy to wheelie on both, and scooter is easy to wheelie if it has just right setups and enough power. :P

haha yer, about ten mins after ma comment i found it lolz, ty nyway. It s givin me a problem tho. Basically, it cut out at about 70 n kept cuttin out then wouldnt start. i think its the spark plug, wat u reckon?
"cut out at about 70", u were driving 70km/h and then suddenly ur scooter just stopped? if spark plug is old it doesnt usually cause that prob while driving but when u try to start it again it doesnt start. u should maybe check piston and hope for the best? :'D

top speed was 80km/h. autch ditech... :S no matter what rollers u put to ditech, u are able to do wheelies only for 20m max? because while wheeling ditech will choke because injector system cant give enough gasoline in that angle what u need for wheelies. :S but if u wanna try to wheelie, 4,5-4,7g are possible weights, 4,5 is prefect for wheelies.

depends also about ur leo v clutch springs, what are the rpms when springs "kick" in or how should i say? :D 4,6-4,8 would maybe be the best with little harder springs? u only find it out by TRYING different weights, but i recommend not to try over 5,0g... :)
I have a 2009 aprillia sr 50 (purejet) with a piaggio engine... u know, the fuel injection one. anyways i got 5.0g rollers, Leo V. ZX hand made pipe, and the red Leo V. clutch springs. full de-restriction. my problem is that when i pop it up it will go for a couple of meters but then it will "choke", or at least thats wat i think its doin. its like when its not leveled the gas doesnt flow properly. i did it on a full tank and it still did the same thing. CAN SOME ONE HELP ME OUT!?
thats normal prob with injected models, u cant actually do wheelies because injected system doesnt answer the gas as fast as carb does, also it's motor brake is too strong. i havent seen anyone or ever even heard anyone doing 50m wheelies with injected because they say it's impossible. gas flows normally but it just does it with injected style which makes it so hard to wheelie. hope u understand even something what i've tryed to say. :D btw 5,0g rollers sounds a bit too heavy rollers for me.

leovince zx pipe, bigger mainjett(size 65), and lighter rollers. u dont even need bigger main jett if u want to do wheelies, but lighter rollers are necessary. :P

for stock cylinders leovince is good. in my opinion.. :D it depends when ur Bw is made, u can see the details of exhaust on the sites where they sell leovinces and it normally sayes which model it fits, like bw's: -99 --> or something like that.

setups of ur sr? i watched ur sr wheelie clip and if ur register blade(?) is stock)like it was on that clip) u cant get enough angle to wheelie and then it's almost impossible. :S
u only find out by TRYING, i cant know how every weights fit to that and that and to that again.. :D so try different weights and u see what's the best. :)
ye i first thought same with u, but just buy some sport exhaust and put lighter rollers so it will wheelie.. :D i can also do somekind of wheelies as its stock when i go stand at the "back" seat, try that if u dont have enough power.(yet) But i recomment that u should handle rear brake.. well i didnt but i learned fast, its easy. :)

Yea we havn't got any parkour gyms round here so we just use what ever we can. I broke my ankle on a go-kart, crashed into a ditch at 45mph and i have metal holiding my ankle together now. ok np. :P yeh well if u have too heavy rollets ur variartor settings are wrong and it doest roll in high rpm because it doesnt have enough power. in straight road i can do all the time 50mph if i just want.
now the size is 65. i´ve removed the variator speedlimiter, chanced lighter rollers(4,5g?) and leovince. everything else is stock. it can reach about 50mph.
maybe ur probs is electrics, if ur engine temperature goes too high that thing in cylinder wont maybe work enough well(so try to chance it?), there may be some crap also in carburetor? i dunno other reasons, i am still an amateur with scooters. :D
i was just wondering with your aprilia sr50 i read that you have size 65 main jets. Is that for all aprilia sr50 because mine has size 60 and it has been playing up recently and i was just wonding if you think i may be because i have the wrong size jet? It is also fully de-restricted adn has a laser x-pro exhaust.

I'll always answer for scooter mates. :D 2 m.. well it's all about starting angle, if thats enough big and u handle brake it's easy. my wheelie record is about 300m. :)
mainjet is that thing in ur carburetor, bigger mainjet u have, more gas ur scooter gets comparing to amounth of air. :D
finland belongs to EU also so allowed top speed is 45km/h.. but mine goes faster because i've took away that spacer or what ever it is.. variator speedlimiter.. :P but i didnt become busted any time^^

hah yeh its not goin to be so easy.. u have to stand back of ur scooter and it may work somehow if u just have some skills.. :D with stantard pipe it goes about 70km/h without variator speed limiter.. but if u remove those things from stock pipe it will go about 80km/h.
Yes well remove the ristirictors off the standerd pipe and you will be able to go 80km/h - 50mph. i tell you if you remove the ristrictors you will be able to get it up in the air while sat down but not as easy to keep it in the air as with the sports pipe i dont think lol. Wb Lewis
u can see setups 3 comment under this.. :D humm.. it is easy to wheelie with sr, only prob is maybe too heavy front, specially if u dont have enough power. :D otherwise it's easy. brakes of sr are really good which makes wheelies easy. :P

leovince zx pipe, bigger mainjett(size 65), and lighter rollers. u dont even need bigger main jett if u want to do wheelies, but lighter rollers are necessary. :P

Can any1 tell me, is the exhaust good? I want to buy one for my Yamaha Bw, i have Minarelli with standing cylinder... which leovince zx i have to buy for it? Sound very gr8 and the echo is very nice *in love* hehe greetings

for stock cylinders leovince is good. in my opinion.. :D it depends when ur Bw is made, u can see the details of exhaust on the sites where they sell leovinces and it normally sayes which model it fits, like bw's: -99 --> or something like that.

nice :D iv just bought a 55 reg sr50 with a technigas exhaust, when i set off the bike splutters a bit and takes time to kick in, when it does kick in though it does 50mph+ can u explain the spluttering at the start? thanks :D

setups of ur sr? i watched ur sr wheelie clip and if ur register blade(?) is stock)like it was on that clip) u cant get enough angle to wheelie and then it's almost impossible. :S

I just got an Aprilia SR50 R and no way can it do that, its really heavy and has not alot of power. How do you get yours to wheelie?

ye i first thought same with u, but just buy some sport exhaust and put lighter rollers so it will wheelie.. :D i can also do somekind of wheelies as its stock when i go stand at the "back" seat, try that if u dont have enough power.(yet) But i recomment that u should handle rear brake.. well i didnt but i learned fast, its easy. :)

np. :P i parkour where i can, mostly here in my hometown, i broke my wrist 7 weeks ago so i havent done that in long time. :D Go-karts are intresting when they've lot of power but i dont have, but i'd love to have one.. :P Haha i believe it's fast, a "bit" faster than sr.. xD

Yea we havn't got any parkour gyms round here so we just use what ever we can. I broke my ankle on a go-kart, crashed into a ditch at 45mph and i have metal holiding my ankle together now. Yea its fast but needs work doing to it. My friend just bort an aprilia RS125 2002 its really nice. You still on your moped?

ok np. :P yeh well if u have too heavy rollets ur variartor settings are wrong and it doest roll in high rpm because it doesnt have enough power. in straight road i can do all the time 50mph if i just want.

So what have u done to yours and how fast can you get out of it?
Mine just annoys me the way it will run great to 45/50 mph then drops to 35 and is flat out at 35 until i stop agen. just dont know whats up with it!

now the size is 65. i´ve removed the variator speedlimiter, chanced lighter rollers(4,5g?) and leovince. everything else is stock. it can reach about 50mph.
maybe ur probs is electrics, if ur engine temperature goes too high that thing in cylinder wont maybe work enough well(so try to chance it?), there may be some crap also in carburetor? i dunno other reasons, i am still an amateur with scooters. :D

there is both carb and injected models. sr 50 R is carb version and factory is injected.

i was just wondering with your aprilia sr50 i read that you have size 65 main jets. Is that for all aprilia sr50 because mine has size 60 and it has been playing up recently and i was just wonding if you think i may be because i have the wrong size jet? It is also fully de-restricted adn has a laser x-pro exhaust.

i have sr too.....my sr is stock,but i removed blockade from my exhaust....i do the wheelie but i cant go that long, like u....i go maybe 2 meters :(.....

I'll always answer for scooter mates. :D 2 m.. well it's all about starting angle, if thats enough big and u handle brake it's easy. my wheelie record is about 300m. :)
mainjet is that thing in ur carburetor, bigger mainjet u have, more gas ur scooter gets comparing to amounth of air. :D

finland belongs to EU also so allowed top speed is 45km/h.. but mine goes faster because i've took away that spacer or what ever it is.. variator speedlimiter.. :P but i didnt become busted any time^^

Hey (Y) i tell you one thing it is not as easy to wheelie with standerd pipe lol i had to do the same i had to take my sports pipe of and put standerd on it is not as easy lol. WB Lewis P.S How fast with standerd pipe on??

hah yeh its not goin to be so easy.. u have to stand back of ur scooter and it may work somehow if u just have some skills.. :D with stantard pipe it goes about 70km/h without variator speed limiter.. but if u remove those things from stock pipe it will go about 80km/h.

Yes well remove the ristirictors off the standerd pipe and you will be able to go 80km/h - 50mph. i tell you if you remove the ristrictors you will be able to get it up in the air while sat down but not as easy to keep it in the air as with the sports pipe i dont think lol. Wb Lewis

u can see setups 3 comment under this.. :D humm.. it is easy to wheelie with sr, only prob is maybe too heavy front, specially if u dont have enough power. :D otherwise it's easy. brakes of sr are really good which makes wheelies easy. :P

with lighter rollers it did go also 80km/h(hardly) but not so easy as it went with stock rollers.. I did maybe 87km/h in downhill.(?)
