@jeTTa002 I've built 4 weber kits now, and I definitely think the "Tweed" kits are a great place to start. You learn to troubleshoot simpler amps (Blackface or Vox-style amps are pretty complicated).
I loved building the kit, it was straightforward and the quality of parts was excellent. I'd recommend Weber over any other kit for the quality of parts and the cost of the kit, it's nearly double the price anywhere other than Weber.
Now I've got the best of both worlds: My Orange amp is great when I want to do the "Real amps don't need pedals!" to get great amp distortion, and then the Tweed Super when I want to have a good platform for different pedals and such. :)
Sounds very tweedy:)

In other words: Go for it! :D

how long did it take to receive the kit once you ordered it?
guitarshredda2 2 years ago
It took about 4 weeks or so I believe.

How did you find building the kit? Was it difficult? Im looking at either the 5F4 Weber, ot the Tube Depot version.
Sounds great man!!

Nice video Neil - that ending couldn't have been scripted better - LOL!
The amp sound good - I especially liked it with the vibe going on. Very sweet tone. I just wish your videos weren't so scripted and rigid.

Silly Greg, scripts are for kids! All free form art baby.

It sounds awesome! Gotta be the rectifier. :-) but....
Real amps don't need pedals! The vibe sounds like a fender brownface vibe circuit.

You KNOW it's the rectifier. ;)

Nope, it belongs to my a friend of mine who we (might) share the space with.

It's a cool amp. You should convince him to let you do a demo. There are not many on YouTube.
BTW, 5 stars. :-)
