  • Daqui a pouco vai ter um que toca sozinha também!!! Porra!!!!

  • This is so gay

  • WTF?? Is this a real guitar?? holy shit..

  • i have 1 its awsome

  • THE DARK FIRE IS WHERE IT'S AT!!!

  • the presenter sounds lyk ben from lost hahaha

  • hmmmmm... how do you put this shit in to drop d then?

  • your all fags o.k go suck your self, retards

  • cool!

    eso existe?

    its really?

  • Wow!

    It's very cool. :D

    I want. *--*

  • I would not like that.

  • FOr fun yes,but not what i would spend money on;)

    So i agree!

  • that tuning noise is the noise from hell too...

  • how much for this baby?

  • @rodolforodriguez95

$1,000-3,000...Not bad for a amazing guitar like this.

  • i

    want

  • i need to find out how to put in drop D!!!!

  • i dont have 1 but from videos i can tell you! pull out the master knob, turn it to the drop d settin, strum the guitar and wait for it to flas blue!

  • lol, i've known that for a while man, but thanks anyway. :D

  • haha only noticed now how long ago ur post was! shows how popular this video is lol

  • wut song is at 00:56

  • wowowowowow i want it

  • nice but how durable are the tuners? i hope they dont break down after a few years

  • this is fun but if it plays itself in tha future why learn to play guitar so i hope thats not gunna happen ;)

  • Era essa que eu estava esperasndo.

Imaginei isso a umas décadas atrás.

  • Is there anyway to set preset custom tunings?? And Does this have tunings like....Drop C...Drop B...Drop Bb....Drop A and all those really low tunings??

  • if u pull out the tuning pegs you can custom tune it if you want

  • Thats Awsome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • who knows what gibson will do next. maybe they will make a guitar that plays itself :O

  • yeah that will be awesome xD

  • lol. just write down the chord, it'll plays :D

  • how much is it any way cuz I think I'm in luuuuv...

  • The low low price of $3,999 US dollars! lol I want it tooooo! I want the cherry red though!

  • it it right to be in love with a guitar :O

  • I'd buy it just for the red finish if I could afford it. It's the prettiest finish I've ever seen on a LP.

  • i can't understand why anyone would buy this. unless your really rich and even then it would only really be a novelty.

  • can it tune differ tunes? like drop D?

  • yeah it said so in the video...

  • idk about this robot...the dark fire has all different kinds...drop d, even drop c. a lot more

  • well how much is that?? wow

  • this sucks people will get lazy because the robot will do all the work

  • Why not just get the robot to play it for you also

  • @gbtayc because tuning it can be boring and annoying as fuck.. playing it is the best thing in the world.. maybe that's why..

  • I hope you don't mean a perfectly tuned guitar is a novelty! It seems pretty damn incredible AND pricey at the same time....but not TOO much more then a really nice Les Paul. If the tuner 'gizmo' were to be quirky, tricky to use(doesn't seem to be), or high maintenance....then YES, novelty. Gibson is a pioneer, doesn't surprise me that this is coming from them. Downside: ears will get lazier for rich kids.

  • true

  • It's cool and all but after you get over the novelty of it what then

  • Dude I Would Kiss An Ugly Girl's Ass For This...Lol

  • yea your kidding right

  • You are kidding...

  • ........................................

  • WOW AMAZING!!!

  • wow man i need this! how much does this thing cost?

  • 4000 or so

  • too good

  • insane

  • the price is $3000 i think

  • wow this is cool!!!!

  • could u believe the price on this bitch?

  • We sale this guitar for 1900 USD at the babeloorecords on google ! Thank you .

  • kwl

  • yo quiero una de esas!!!!!

  • dude... thats just scary...

  • cool!

  • pretty cool... but tuning is kinda like bonding time with your guitar.....in my opinion...

  • thats awesome!!!!!!!!!!!

  • what the heck? you know what's ganna happen now don't ya? people are ganna buy this and not ever learn the right ways to do that stuff. that's why music is going down hill.

  • you have a pretty good point this costs a lot and you wont learn to tune

  • @t1msguitar

Exactly, if you can't TUNE your guitar, what are you going to PLAY?

It seems like a cute novelty, but WHY would any player be interested in standing there, while the machines tune the guitar?

  • @fubokuen picture this: you re in a studio and you re paying the hours you there, and you want to play songs in drop d, then in normal tunning and then in another another tunning. with all this you would spent like 10 minutes, if you can save this time, its already worth it. thats just my opinion

  • @fubokuen I can tune my guitar, but doing so after my sister thinks it's fun to play with the knobs can get kind of tedious.

  • @t1msguitar its the furture but doing it manully do help

but it llows u 2 do it manully if ur 2 lazy

  • @t1msguitar nobodys gonna get it cus it's so damn expensive lol

  • Pretty awesome.

  • If you put a lower string into one of the higher slots I wonder if it pulls the string hard enough to snap it.

  • $2300

  • This only should be sold to people who know how to play guitar and tune it. Otherway its just unnatural goddamnit! Its pretty sweet though lol, one smart ass guitar.

  • i wnna ask smtin how much is that? me want 1 :D

  • bout £1700-£2100

  • it takes 3 minutes to tune in drop d? if your not a retard you can do it by ear in a few seconds.

  • it takes you three minutes to tune to drop D? thats kinda pathetic

  • FATTYYY

  • And what´s the next step?

A guitar that plays itself atomatically?

I think the price is too high...I prefer taking some time to tune the guitar by hand...

But who wants to buy it can do that.

  • Carbon fiber strings with digital pickups :P

  • That can be a good collector's item for Les Paul guitarist

  • Its a guitar for dumbasses.

What ever happened to the old fashion way of rocking? you dont need any high-tech bullshit to do it for you.

  • You're so ignorant man. The main purpose of this is to make tuning take less time. What if you're on stage, and you need to tune to drop d for a different song? Instead of taking 3 minutes, it will only take 20 seconds.

  • If it takes you THREE MINUTES to tune to drop d you should not be on stage. This guitar is awesome no question, but guitarists should definitely know the proper way to tune. It will only help you in the long run.

  • who cares. It takes less time, and it puts it in perfect tuning everytime. plus it will be a collectors guitar, and be worth alot of money in the long run. Your just mad because you probably can't afford it, so your making up some bullshit excuse why you wouldn't buy it(even though you know you would if you had the money.)...

  • Next innovation will be... a loudspeaker, built right into the head of the neck, which will annoyingly whine something like "Wrong chord, pal! It's F-Minor here!" every time you don't get things right. Tuning is a great way to improve pitch recognition, they better not take it away from us. Thumbs up to pure Gibson tone.

  • pretty clever thing thats great how much are these guitars?

  • $2,800 at guitar center

  • they dont have the white/blue guitar, rite? that was like some limited one, o and is the guitar being sold, or do they nly release them at certain times, cuz i herd somtn like dat....

  • its being sold.

  • theyre just being sold,

and i dont know about the white blue one though

  • The great thing about this for the 'Joni Mitchell or Robert Fripp Type all rolled into one' is that you can preset 6 custom tunes. So, in a really pro live stage setup...it could save you from carrying around a bag o guitars and a guitar tech... That said, would your main axe be a blue or purple Les Paul Studio?!?! I think the repair will be inexpensive if the tuners goes bad (a concern for some) as those units will be "cheap" for those that are in a position to tour with the guitar.

  • ... this is a cool inovation.. but many guitarist will find they can get something a lot nicer and wont mind tuning themselves.. i personally like tuning... when you dont need a tuner and you can get to any open note you want you feel so acomplished.. this would elimate that feeling.. and btw i cant afford 2800 dollar les paul that just tunes itself and is ugly metalic purple... the sg looks nice though in purple... good.. but it is just an innovation to show off

  • ya todos los antiguos hubieran deseado esta guitarraza....

  • how much is it and where can i get it lol

  • the blue robot one is taken away, they have a metallic purple Robot Les Paul Studio ($3999) and a metallic purple Robot SG ($3599)

  • Hehe nice, hopefully in the future this will be the standard addition to all guitars.

  • i would be afraid it would become alive in the middle of the night and try to have its way with me!, just kidding

  • wow!

    what the fuck

  • well man, this can save a lot of time in a show.

I personally have to change the tune of my guitar a few times when playing covers =P

  • aahahah i think its cool

  • So is it possible to automatically tune your robot gibson to play low stuff like "DROP C" or B ???

  • who actually sits there and goes... i want to tune a guitar.. no they don't.. they want to play! tha's why that is kewl!

  • estan re manija

  • i think its a great idea with good intention, i mean hell it tunes itself but in the end you added electronics to something. my worry is this, it tunes itself because the tuners have little gears and whatnots, in a way you can call it an engine, and the gizmo that makes it tune itself is a chip, so what if the engine on the tuner breaks, thats gona be expensive as hell, its a good idea but unless it comes wiht a warranty idk

  • great collectible

  • Yeah for sure. I really don't think i'd use it for stage... but recording would be ok i guess.. you'd always be in tune..

    --Dave

  • well you have to be in tune on stage as well :)

  • Sorry... still like the VG strat more... this is neat and all but i don't think it's practical.. i like being able to mess with tunings while playing... especially using my tuning on low e to get a whammy sound...

    --Dave

  • Dave;

You can simply pull the tuning knob out, and you can manually tune your guitar. No problem.

  • That sounds to difficult to me.. i'm lazy... the one advantage it has is that it retunes itself.. and winds the strings... that's cool.

    --Dave

  • cool guitar butt its to to complicated to much that and to much that .......to much to remembering .......

  • holy balls. the pickup was moving at 2:43!!!!

  • Yeah, I guess you'd move too if I'd penetrate you with a screwdriver.

  • this is stupid cuz it deosnt teach kids how to tune guitars by the way im only 14 :p

  • i agree but what kid is going to have enough money for one. but this would be pretty cool for on stage, Jimmy Page had a similar set-up on one of his newer les pauls just for a neat affect on stage. i'm 13

  • true..but id still rather hav this guitar..probably cuz i can already tune=P

  • what's the intonation adjustment the video was talking about?

  • sometimes if the bridge is too high or to low ur guitar doesnt sound right..this way it tells u exactly how ur bridge should b..pretty handy

  • i thought so but wasnt sure. My les paul has a buzzes a little. I think the bridge is too low or the neck bends a little. i need to adjust it but dont know how. im afraid to make my gibson worse.

  • if it buzzes try bringing the bridge a little lower using a screwdriver..u dnt hav 2 worry cuz u can always bring ur bridge back 2 the way it was

  • lower? would that make it buzzes more? There's 2 big metal wheel like at the bridge and 6 crews for each string at the bridge also. should i mess with the big metal wheel?

  • ur rite..ur supposed 2 bring it higher..i got mixed up..look..u can always bring it back 2 the way it was b4..so u can mess with everything..jus 2 try new things..bring the 2 metal wheels a little higher..thts wat i would do

  • Just take it to a guitar shop i wouldn't mess with a Les Paul too much if i didnt know what i was doing

  • stupid feature awesome guitar

  • Amazing...

  • firckanay tis probably gonna cost 3 more grand jsut for automatic tuning?!?!

people...JUST LEARN HOW TO TUNE THE DAMN GUITAR ITS NOT THAT HARD.

  • i think its really gay

all u need is a tuner and ur good to go

  • Lol we know how to do it. They know that too. But what they also know is that us Americans can be really lazy sometimes.

  • nice guitar, but it's just gonna teach people to be lazy

  • Brilliant!!! now my grandchildren won't know how to tune, adjust inntonation or play in 'open' tunings unless it's done automatically by this Frankenstien of the luthier trade :o(

  • what that fuck is tuning the guitar? Do you have to tune the guitar i specific ways for epecific song?

  • lol ya i cant believe u didnt knew that

  • Fuck off!!!

  • yes, but the price?

  • The price is about 2500 USD.

  • Pretty handy but i rather tune it myself and save those $2499 lol

  • lmao i tihnk the same

  • pssh you dont need that

    its a cheat

people won't learn anything with that guitar

  • guess im the only one who thinks its pretty fuckin badass

  • It's an awesome guitar, but if you think about it, its either for spoiled people, idiots who dont know how to do this stuff, or for lazy people. I'm not paying $2500.00 for a freakin STUDIO that just does this stuff. I've seen good studios go for $800.00, so basically you're paying $1700.00 for stuff you can do in a couple minutes. Plus, the only color they got out now is the ugly Blue Silverburst shit.

  • the guitar for gays

  • very good guitar... but...always a but...

is so complicated to use XD hahahaha

  • Word is that Arnold is using one of these to become a cyborg rock star in the next Terminator movie.

  • lol

  • this guitar is pretty gay.

  • they will take over the world.....do u know what you have done no one across the world will be able to tune a guitar again by ear! thanks u saved me a lot of work ... how much?

  • this is all bullshit, the VG is kind of ok but still you don't need all that crap...robo-les paul? c'mon WHAT THE FUCK!!!???

  • waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaw

  • cool transformer dude!!....does it cook?

  • i think he people that

don't like this guitar and says

"if you don't tune your own

guitar you are not a good

    guitarist"is just

    because they can't

    buy one.!

    it rock's

    mex

  • i recently bought that robot guitar and is just the best guitar i have ever bought it definetly is worth the $5000.00 you pay for it.

  • Ha thats funny, because they are half of that.

  • It's a cool idea...but its kinda pointless too. I think they made it for the middle aged, pony-tailed men who want to buy a another Gibson and just sit there in their bedrooms and solo all day. And whenever they get the opportunity, they will kick on the tuning thing in front of other guitar players just to watch their reactions.

Anyway, I prefer my trusty korg floor tuner. It made me feel like I am actually doing something.

    Keep Trying Gibson.

  • i think its more of a competition against Fender's VG strats,

with those strats, you can play different tunings without actually tuning your guitar.

  • Why can't everyone get past the stone age thinking of "back in my day we didn't have these con-fangled dad-bern automatic pitching machines. We played catch and when we hit the ball we had to fetch it every time!" It's just a fast easy way to tune so you can go ahead and play, point blank. I'm planning on buying one when our buyers order them and never thought once about "impressing" anyone with how awesome it is. It's just and awesome guitar! And if someone oo's and ah's over it, let 'em!

  • How much?

  • around 2.5k

  • Wow... thanks

  • are people so lazy to tune their guitar..

  • yea, but who cares this is awesome!!

  • Like I said on another forum, if you think it's laziness, next time you need to see in the dark don't worry about turning any lights on in your house. Walk around lighting candles. When they melt all the way down, which will happen frequently, replace them all. Flip a switch so you can get on with your life? Why would you do that? Drive to work in 10 minutes? Why when I could walk in 2 hours? Microwave? No thanks. I'd rather slow simmer my mac and cheese for a few hours.

  • holly Shit!

  • how much does this cost?
