I had this approach once in 10 times I've flown into BUR so far, and we had an even shorter turn to final. I was sitting over the left wing and remember seeing the field and thinking there was no way we'd make the turn, and sure enough a hard left bank started lol. That, plus flying over that cemetery right before crossing the runway threshold made it, well interesting, to say the least. Great vid!
loved the commentary on what was going on. Really felt like I did fly this landing. by the way I did on labor day weekend this year. Thanks for the video. Nice memories.
33 is tricky because you have to fly eastbound in a heavy crosswind, until turning to a very short final. it's kind of similar to the Rwy 31 expressway visual at LaGuardia. Plus the Santa Ana winds are usually very strong and make lining up with the runway tricky. 33 does run uphill however so the planes don't use up much runway. I've probably used 33 twice in all the times I've flown into BUR
lol at the PA announcement...

neat video, don't see them use runway 33 unless its santa ana winds or sometimes cold, windy days in winter.
