@appledancer it can be seen as 2 ways. its talking about how he doesnt treat her that well but she still loves him and is willing to try again. times get hard. and those hard times made her stronger. but it could also mean that she doesnt want to be with him and although he was hard on her, he didnt break her. he made her stronger & now shes strong enough to move on in life without him. but I think the song is her 1st thinking of leaving but then realizing it all makes them stronger in the end
