Do you know how can I increase the speed of my trills? I don't seem to have the ability naturally. I can just about play the trills in 'South of Heaven' by Slayer. I can't go beyond that speed. My fingers tire quickly too, yet this doesn't really happen with other fretting work. Any ideas?

use a metronome and play on the speed that suits u and when u master it ..increase the metronome speed by 2 or 3 points more...i know it will take time but at the end u will master playing whatever u want even without thinkin

it's not your fingers that trill, but your wrist. A lot of players use their fingers only, and that makes them tired quickly as well.
