This song has always touched my heart in a very special way. In June of 2000 it touched it in a way that I hope no one ever has to experiance. My youngest son, Ryan, who was 3 years old died in a drowning accident. A friend from church offered to sing at his his funeral and I asked him to sing this song. The reason I asked for this song was the line in the chorus that says "to find a way in the darkest night,let your grace shine on us.
