@fittkukk Thanks. I'm from the Time Square area. Just to the west side where United Airlines plane landed in the Hudson River. Been there all my life. Though family is still there, I'm currently in the Bronx. Glad you like it. If this is your dream then don't give up and you'll find your way here. Good luck!
And it says 24hrs right there! I think most broadway lights start shutting off at around midnight or so. What timing huh? It seemed as if it were done on purpose. :)
Hi, I love your camera. How can i contact you? I'd like to shoot in Times square at night, i saw your video and I LOVE IT!!!
You have a great camera. Are you a pro videographer? I have a project i want to do but i need someone shoot the video and then i will edit it.... Let me know if this is posibble..
Thanks. If your going to use it indoors, make sure you have adequate lighting of course. This camera will work great for close-ups when making unboxing clips. Use a tripod and fix the camera on your object because its zooming & focus speed is kind of slow on moving objects within 10ft. Tried it on an rc chopper. It was nearly impossible to focus on it. But when fixed & focused, the 720P quality is awesome. Remember, lots of lighting too. Hope this helps.
Question: What format does the camera record in? Was it a simple import into iMovie or did you have to convert the format? If you did convert what program did you use? I really want this camera but I want it to be Mac friendly....Thanks
Its Mpeg4 ".Mov" File. And they import into iMovie without a hitch. I do it all the time for these very videos you see on my list. And as for converting. Like I said, you don't have to for iMovie but if you need a good converter, try "Road Movie". It's the simplest converter I've used for clips for iphone, PS3, iPod's all versions. Now if you want convert DVD's,Try "Handbrake". Its free. Though not as simple. But have great results with chapters. Google them. Sorry for late reply. Been busy.
Cool. I've always wanted to go to California. I love the sun. Can't get enough of it and I'm tired of the fall and winter. I've got to get there in this life time. Love baseball too. L.A. Dodgers would be the team I'd go for. I still love New York though.
You'll love it. But be carefull. Like every big city (If you move to NYC), there are many temptations that look fun & exciting but can lead to a disasterous life changing experience. Use your better judgement. You'll be 16 when you get here. Be a smart teenager. You should be fine. Lots to see & do here. Good luck and enjoy!
noo wayyy?? i have that camera.how come my quality isnt like this? whats the speed and size of your memory stick? and what settings did you put it on? thanks!
If your talking about the high speed traffic effect. I imported my clips into iMovie (Editing software on Mac computers) and increased the playback speeds resulting in super fast movement. I used a tripod of course. I also decreased the playback speed on some parts of the clip. You can get really creative with a little patience and practice. As far as the settings go. I have it set to 720Fine in video settings. Have fun.
Thanks! The time lapse photography was done like I mentioned above. I added a couple of stills that I took in addition to adding freeze frames from the video itself. Just set the duration on that frame to achieve look you want. Again for time lapse. Set the camera on a tripod & point it in the direction you want for about 4 to 6 minutes without touching it. Be patient. Fiddle with your phone or something to pass the time. Remember, I used iMovie 09 for Mac.
hey did you enable the option high sensitivity? because i this adds noise in the video, and i think your suppose to enable it during night shots right? because with night videos with my sony h20 its noise and i had high sensitivity on. (720p fine). should i disable this? thanks!
Yeah I know what you mean. High sensitivity does add lots of noise to the video. But when shooting in times square I did not set it on high sensitivity. Although it's set to auto which may set it to high sensitivity even if you may not want it. The final result was great, ot much noise. And one more thing, when shrinking it down say for an iphone or psp, the noise is undetectable. Just about gone. Broadway was well lit from all the traffic, street and neon lights. So noise was minimal.
Thanks. Yeah the Sony H20. And I believe I went as far as 30 minutes without any interruptions before it stopped. I had it on a tripod when recording then stopped after the "30th" minute. And I just checked the PDF Manual and it does say continuous shooting is possible up to approximately 29 minutes. Hope this helped you.
Thanks. Yeah it's a pretty nice camera. Love the macro focus, even when recording video. Good for recording the smallest details on just about anything. The song I use in this video is "Just an illusion" by Imagination.
NYCM, thks by the answer. Excuse my English, it is still not perfect! (heheh), I am a Brazilian and I am thinking to going in NY soon, it is so really interesting city.
Yeah, "just an illusion"! :D

Yeah, thanks for this!
I will always remember this.
But, when I hear about the crimes in NYC, then I think I should move to a smaller town, because I can still come here on holiday.
So anyway, everyone in my family is looking for small towns, and we might move to California.
