  • @AncientBoneCrusher He's not actually a jerk at all, you've probably seen him in Hell's Kitchen and that's the only way to sell anything to the citizens of the United States; Yelling and over dramatising everything..

  • just had this for dinner ,,very nice but i think i put slightly too much salt on the monkfish to draw out the liquid and it was slightly salty ,,,very easy dish to make all the same

  • @MrBullhounds it is possible he could have been using a different salt than you where. its best to use kosher salt that is not iodized.

  • Monkfish is hard to find, but so worth it. This preparation looks perfect to me. Since monkfish often finds itself in bouillabaisse, the addition of saffron will work great and bring that bit of familiarity.

  • @20000000watts To me, gourmet cooking looks ridiculously simple. As for the ingredients, the only one that's libel to break the bank is the saffron!

  • These recipes are not meant to be difficult. They're for home cooking. The stuff that's served at michelin star restaurants is generally much more complex (and much more expensive).

  • @BigKwell I totally agree about the saffron. Saffron is in fact more expensive than marijuana in many places in North American per gram.

  • Gordan's a master chef. I will most def be trying this one. I've tried his mussel recipe and it's amazing. My wife love's it and so do I. And I was never a mussel aficionado till I made his recipe. With a side of double fried pom frites.

  • He's the BEST and I agree with everything that he does.. people think that they're better than him, but there not and it's AWSOME how he shuts them down... lol
