3s 1320mAh Prolite, fit the chassy if you trim the traingle reinforcements from the chassy edge. Any pack that is 34mm wide or less.
Today I would buy Hyperion VX 35C 3s 1100mAh(34.4mm wide) or 1600Mah(33.6mm wide) for quality and long life span plus up to 5C charge rates support (charge in 15mins).
With the large M18MT wheels and tire diameter with 3s brushless geared for about 20 to 25mph, at full throttle there is enough momentum in all 4 wheels to throw the truck upright if you can apply plenty of brake to transfer the rotational energy in the wheels to the body of the truck. Also it is very easy to hit forward-brake-reverse-forward reliably and quickly with the stock pistol grip Tx.

@truggyRCrunway, yes brushless can be added from stock build. Much more new competition on the market nowadays though.
