The tranny is interchangeable from years 1996 - 1999 on the following models: SL, SL1, SW, SW1, SC, SC1 (all models with SOHC). The models with DOHC take a different tranny, but it would still mount up and work if need be--just wouldn't be as efficient since they are geared differently.
Yes perhaps so, when it did happen, it happened instantly after rolling over what seemed to be a corner of an old vintage kitchen sink. Something that looked like it fell off of some kind of junkyard truck, maybe hauling stuff to recycling. So the differential pin may very well be the real reason. Something for myself to re-examine and get back to you in a few days. It is important to know the true blue reason why something might fail and if it can be preventable of another costly repair bite.
ill bet money that it wasnt the axle and it was the differential pin. came out. common problem on all saturn s series. if u drive them hard or spin wheels it happens even quicker
Nice video,
couple of questions:
what are you guys smoking, and where can i pick some up?

And
where is rainman? clearly he is also part of the team.
