He spent the better half of the last decade focused on his own whiney issues complete with hyper emotional power ballads. He traded his signature style criptic nusery rhyme music for more dance infused shlock with tear jerking anthems moaning about how tough life can be. Yawn.

I tend to look at it this way: I grew up in the last 10 years, and he seems to be stuck in the same self pitying place. at one point his antics were amusing, now they come off as the excesses of a bored rock star. novelty tunes like 'we made you" are embarrassing. love SS LP, and nothing has really topped the marshal mathers LP for consistency IMHO.
