Aniket, I am just so appreciative or your excitement on this project. You are like a small child on christmas morning who got a new gameboy. I love it, keep up the good work and enjoy the ride.
Why do i return to this page everytime ?I must have viewed it a 1000 times already. I learnt the answer today. its because listening to this engine is like therapy. Great job Aniket.
Hope we all will be able to drive around someday in a production version of bike you worked so hard on.
THATS BAT SHIT INSANE BRO ! THAT sounds like a real motorcycle people ! the sound of this beats the slickness of any other modern Plastic Puppies ... keep up the good work aniket ...
This engine sounds great, all it's missing is a maggie, and it will be right. What is the included angle between cylinders? This sounds very much like a Vincent black shadow or lightning, as it idles. You don't need to hunt down three idiots, they must live with themselves, after all. Do you have any plans or specs available to see or download? I'd like to build one myself, and your design is right on! mad jack
Dude you are in the creative groove! nice creation. I have an RZ350 '89 that would scream with a 700. The base case fab service would be a good biz. These blow modern HD away! Saw a v BSA unit once.
With a sound much like a harley its all good. Its impressive that its something you have built yourself! Sounds pretty smooth too! What did you do for a crank? did you borrow one from the likes of a harley, or custom make one?
Whoever gave the thumbs down has no idea what you've done. Fabulous job! I hope you've taken this to the manufacturer! I'd love to shake your hand. Congratulations!
I rarely post YouTube comments, but I about shat my pants when I saw this. Even though I'm a Harley owner, I've always had a soft spot for Enfields and Nortons. Dude, I'm blown away! Not only is that incredibly cool, but it sounds awesome! Great job!
It's been my experience the people who criticize your decision to try something are oftentimes armchair quarterbacks who do not have the guts to actually TRY something new in the real world.
there is no need to recast the block..All you need is machine a crank case out of solid aluminum block...which is the toughest part..Blocks,cylinder heads will all be the same installed on studs...however the oil pump flow rate will be a lot more which means a heavy duty pump would be needed instead of the stock pump..The cranberry engine was made the same way but the heads are different using UCE cylinder Heads which came much later.
great job done, congrats. hey i heard that u need partner in india, so i m ready for diong with u,will u .m doing motorcycle bussinees in india, i made harley, indians and many british and american bikes.. nt believe just give ur id and send u the pic... i m doind this bussiness from last 40 years..... i manufactures parts too.. for all the bikes and export them..
Fantastic! You should be proud and RE should be envious. It sounds beautiful, it looks beautiful... even your full exhaust looks the part. I'm glad you stuck it out in spite of the other ones too. now, how about a 1000cc version? muua ha ha haaa!
that thing is so awesome.. makes me wish I had the money and know-how to take a pair of 750 triumph barrels and heads and make a v4... or even more insane... how about a 4.5L V12 out of triumph top ends... now thatd be insane
gr8 man....try to make a bullet which has more power to weight ratio.try new technologies and all, aerodynamics!!just try......this drum beating bullet is amazing
Hello Winsomniac : Your Motorcycle is Beautiful , si entiendes castellano ( spanish ) yo poseo una Honda VT 600 CC ( Shadow ) , cuidala a esa moto ya que hay muy pocas .., un abrazo motero .., Jose de R. Argentina ...
Just Lovely... One question though, I had previously tried to merge two 500cc as a twin much like what you have done with two 350cc. But After making a test model(only the twin engine part) I quited because I noticed that although the twin engine provided much stronger torque, it did nearly nothing to improve the speed, and what's more the vibration was nearly impossible to bear. Can u give me some advice on these matters? Thanks a million~!
I have no idea if you are talking about a motorbike? the engine vibrations are caused if you have the engine in direct contact with the fram, heres an idea when u mount the engine try and put some rubber washers/bushes inbetween where the fram and engine noremaly contact. This should act as some schock absorbers to take away some of the vibrations hope i helped =]
Thank you for your suggestion! and yes, of course I'm taking about a motorbike :-) I will try it out. I guess the main concern will be to find a studdy shock absorber. Have tried some Harley stuff but didn't work out... Still will keep on my search.

Now that you have this project finished and no OTHER bike will ever be as good as this one, I think you should fix the electrical system on your Triumph and give it to your father-in-law.

Awesome sound. I live in Cincinnati and I bought my Bullet about a year ago after coming back from a trip to India. As powerful as the 500cc single is, I've always dreamed of a twin. Now that I know what it sounds like, I want one even more! Good luck with the project!
this is fantastic. i've watched this video many times because it is truly inspirational. it definitely shows you have a passion for something and you can see it in your eyes and reactions! the motor sounds great!
Once again, still blown away by the wonderful things so many of you have said. Update- the engine is right now sitting in the bike, the tank and seat need to be fitted, wiring modified slightly, then RIDE!
Right in the spirit of "Warbird" and precious few others dedicated to V-twins of yesteryear- great job. Inspirational. Where can I get more info- I've been fantasizing about designing and building my own twin for decades now?
Am in Columbus Ohio. I designed it to just fit into the stock enfield frame stretched with modified engine mounting plates-its installed right now, awaiting a few final things. But ofcourse, a new frame would be quite cool too, maybe the next project?
Info and pics are coming once the bike gets finished and rideable. Dude, a Harley definitely makes that noise the best! When i first heard a Harley, that's what inspired me to do this one day!
Very good but something bugged me in that the V twin isn't offset being an aircooled V twin , rather than liquid cooled. I;m just wondering what your engineering solution to that was.
Glad you asked! Actually, if you look closely (hard to see in the video though) there is an offset- the rear cylinder is offset to the right by about 1.1 inch, this was necessary due to the conrods being side by side, and this also exposes the hottest part of the rear cylinder head- the exhaust port area to a direct stream of air. Ofcourse, as ukkatanapics points out, almost all classic v twins with narrower angles are inline- Brough, (JAP engines), harleys, Brit ones from the 30s etc.
Once again, I *really* appreciate the encouragement from all of you-its made life feel good again! I'm working hard and the engine is now in the bike, need to tie up loose ends and soon you all will see it in the bike!
Hey, AA here. Once again, great job! Glad to see there have been so many views and comments! I will be there with the camera again when you take your first ride on the Enfield 700!
ohhhh my , if god ever create a genius it`s have to be you. congratolations men it`s incredible piace of art. my regards from argentina luciano..... if you wont to sold one of those just send my a message. again congratulations ... just a fucking genius!!!!!!!
Sir, you are an inspiration to us all! That engine looks as pretty as a picture - and I think she's producing the sweetest sound I've ever heard from a V twin. A true masterpiece.

after the kick the dude's engine starts within the beats 1...2...3...dug dugu dug dugu!...freaking awesome...one word for it.INCREDIBLE!!!!

Hi!
Thanks so much!
Am in Columbus Ohio. I designed it to just fit into the stock enfield frame stretched with modified engine mounting plates-its installed right now, awaiting a few final things. But ofcourse, a new frame would be quite cool too, maybe the next project?
Thanks!!

Thats awsome. Would be great to see a stroked crank and larger pistons to give say, 1200cc's!!!!!

You are a genius!!! how did you do that dude? A harley can never make that noise i guess. Please give me some details...
ronnie9191 2 years ago
You are too kind! Thanks!
Info and pics are coming once the bike gets finished and rideable. Dude, a Harley definitely makes that noise the best! When i first heard a Harley, that's what inspired me to do this one day!

doesnt need to be offset. harleys arent, and theyre a much narrower vee than this. it will still cool adequately even with them in line

Very good but something bugged me in that the V twin isn't offset being an aircooled V twin , rather than liquid cooled. I;m just wondering what your engineering solution to that was.
kenmorgan1984 2 years ago
Hi Ken,
Glad you asked!

Sir, you are an inspiration to us all! That engine looks as pretty as a picture - and I think she's producing the sweetest sound I've ever heard from a V twin. A true masterpiece.
