I liked the iceland mission better in ps2/xbox version, better then the pc/360/ps3 version, because in the next gen version, him saying "whats going on????"" doesn't make sense. the cutscene just seems to fit better on the old gen version

The next gen version has its perks, too, like the exclusive Shanghai mission, daylight missions, the color night vision goggles (which I absolutely love) and the fact it takes place in the present as opposed to a giant flashback, but I still tend to favor the sixth gen version. @hms2407 My understanding is that the PC version isn't the same. There's something wrong with the servers or something. I had thought about getting it for PC, but the issues I heard (which I don't remember off the top of my head) discouraged me from it.

@contender056 My understanding is the reason it was delayed from its March release was so they could include it on the 360 as well. I don't know if this rumor has been comfirmed yet or not, though.
@contender056 HD simply means improved graphics as far as I know. One of the biggest complaints I've heard, though, is that multiplayer has been taken out. Since I already own the trilogy on the original Xbox, I have no reason to buy this HD remake, especially since there is no multiplayer. But for someone like you that has never experienced the original trilogy, I highly recommend it.
no splinter cell mission has or ever will be as good as the CIA HQ missions....i couldnt narrow down to what order other than CIA beating all the others but my favorites are: Penthouse - Chaos Theory Kalinatek - Splinter Cell Presidential Palace - SC Displace International - CT LAX - Pandora Tomorrow CIA HQ - SC Jerusalem - PT Train - PT Bank - CT Kokobo Shosho - CT Abattoir - SC First Mission - SC Defense Ministry - SC as you can see....my favorite game was the original.

Yeah, I know. I didn't have the next-gen version then, but I recently got a PS3 and one of the first two games I got was DA. I really liked Okhotsk, Cozumel and Shanghai as well as the JBA missions. In fact, I like both versions of Okhotsk. And the color night-vision goggles are the best thing ever!

YES!! CIA HQ and Presidental Palace is my favorite mission in Splinter Cell. LAX and the studio mission where you kidnap Sadanno are my favorite missions in Pandora Tommorow. I'm getting Chaos Theory soon though.
It's only available for 6th gen consoles, i.e., Xbox, PS2, etc. It was released March 2005. The first game available for PS3 and 360 was Double Agent (2006). Chaos Theory has some of the best graphics ever for Xbox. In my opinion, it was the best in the series.

If your Xbox is still functioning, get both for Xbox. I've seen comparison videos of the games for both consoles and the Xbox has better graphics. HOWEVER, level designs are slightly different for each console. If you can afford both, I'd get both as they kind of connect in a way. You should be able to pick up both for $30. I recommend playing them in order if you can.

He used to have a Myspace page with that song but I can't find it now. However, you can freely download the entire SCDA score directly from his personal website. Go to behaviormusic (dot) com and look under the Music section. :)

Good judging, CIA HQ, was probably the funnest level, I can say that I replayed it a lot of times to try different things, such as headshots only, stunning the guy then pick him up and dropping him down the ladder. hahaha it was fun
