Armond White thinks that he's the Messiah of movie reviewing and that he lays down what REALLY needs to be said about them, but really, when you're saying that the most popular movies suck, such as Toy Story 3, WALL-E, or whatever, you probably shouldn't be in the movie reviewing industry.
Can we stop critizing Armond White? Please, stop critizing Armond White. Don't tear everyone up who disagrees with critics. After all, I liked Old Dogs and Tooth Fairy. I also like Shrek the Third.
I actually hated there will be blood. I found it to be really boring. But i always hated artsy kind of movies (if you can call it that). You know the ones that come off as so arogantly sure of themselves. I felt this way about there will be blood, inception, dark knight, and many other popular films. Dark knight wouldnt have been half the movie it is without heath ledger...
@fushion999 I definitely agree with you about the Dark Knight. I think Nolan is great at filming action sequences, and Heath Ledger truly makes the perfect villian. Aside from that, it felt like the Paleozoic Era took less time to go to completion, and I nearly wet myself every time Christian Bale confronted the bad guys with that hilarious deep voice. That's what the movie is to me: a showcase for Ledger, and little else.

Armond likes Citizen Kane. He does agree with conventional critics about half the time. But he hates Pixar (whom I love) and gives glowing reviews to weird things like Tranformers 2 and Jonah Hex... it's part of what makes him the only interesting critic on RT. The bonus is that his reviews read as if written by a very intelligent man... always entertaining.
