Sulfates strip your hair of their natural oils and also strips color, so yes, sulfate-free is better for dryer hair and or colored hair.

if it is sulfate free that means that sulfates arent in there----sulfates are harsh clearners that are in detergents, soaps, etc that are harsh on both your skin and hair cause they pull out the natural oil and moisture.

I tend to think ahead and anticipate the next season, so I always gravitate towards spring colors in the winter months! I don't think colors have genders or specific seasons..lol

I know this will probably sound weird, but I think you would look absolutely splendid with bangs! You have strong features (cheekbones, browline, etc.) and some long blunt blang would really soften everything and bring out some beautiful hidden features in your face... Sulfates is the stuff that makes it easy to lather. They strip the hair of the oils it needs to grow and be healthy, and that can make the hair really dry, tangly and u can get split ends/breakage. I wouldn't use a sulfate-free shampoo and products with cones (look on the ingredients list for words ending with cone or xane).because they coate the hair making it look nice and healthy. If u do I'd use a clarifying shampoo every now&then to remove buildup.
