If you look at some of the things the Greek govt. was spending on - 13th, 14th and even 15th wages, retirement in your 50s, stupid bonuses for civil servants. Yes, the politicians should tighten their belts too, but I live in the Czech Republic and the greek civil servants make many many times more and have much higher pensions than people in my country. That's the problem: people get used to pampering.
