I don't understand why some men say they hate women, that we don't deserve to be able to work for a living, and that we shouldn't be allowed to do what we're capable of, and some women will actually let themselves associate with these douchebags.

And it's not all geared towards a male audience.There's a lot of porn made by women for women, both straight and gay. Are those women disillusioned and depressed too?! When I finally got into a band, i suggested we all trade intstruments after every song. This is what Bikini Kill used to do. The others thought I was crazy. "next idea" was the feeling there.
But I really like that idea. The audience must know that they can't expect perfection then, and so all the bullshit is minimized.
