I know a guy who has an 87 Shelby GLHS that has equal length axles and he says he still has torque steer when he pounds it. That's the 1.8 turbo engine, by the way.
Any front-wheel drive with unequal length axles is impossible to completely eliminate torque steer, but you can attempt to reduce it with various modifications.

@lejink equil length half shafts, as long as you dont have a going bad axle, tie rod end, or bad alignment, they pull strait forwards
