  • Tell dexter to stop dumping the bodies in our ocean D:

  • Al gore do you know what he did to the environment!

  • Decision of every individual has an impact on our environment. the choice do not lies only in the hands of huge corporate and that's why video like this is created to educate the public.

How do you know that they are not telling the corporates about this?

  • What the fuck was that at 4:47?

  • @Vlogandotherstuff I think its called......wait a minute.....WTF IS THAT!

  • They even believe in global warming, which is an absolute scam.

  • @AwesomeCoasters And I thought we moved on from that brief moment of stupidity

  • @mario11168 Did you go and make sure you were right before making that arbitrary majoritary opinion-statement? Things might not be what they seem!

  • @AwesomeCoasters I was agreeing with you, but alright.

  • @mario11168

I thought that the ''brief moment of stupidity'' was global warming skeptism :)

Unfortunately, GW alarmism will always be there because it's in the interest of politicians and trollers, and it's the easy thing for everyone to believe in.

  • @AwesomeCoasters And everyone says Al Gore was such a better option...

  • Don't take any education from national geographic.

I repeat, don't take any education from national geographic.

The endangered species are dying as part of a natural cycle and the waste floating in the see is a minor, tiny scale problem.

  • how to care for the ocean : stop eating seafoods . .:D

  • What's the mobile app ??

  • this is crap - pure propaganda to keep the ppl ignorant

  • Artkings right water is precious most planet doesn't even have water so we are lucky to live on this planet.

  • Thanks. We can't live on a planet with a dead ocean. If the oceans die, we die so we should stop overfishing our oceans and stop putting trash in ou oceans.

  • I hate the 2-3 generations before me....THEY fucked the world and now I have to worry scientists have put a date ...if we continue to rape the ocean like we are and still are we will eliminate all edible fish species by 2048.

  • How about " Become a vegetarian, that would certainly stop the human race to destroying the whole world he lives in." as advice? Of course no one will say that onTV, because we are surrounded by a bunch of hypocrites. So much easier to say that you are eating "sustainable seafood, than doing what's actually right - not eating it at all.

  • The first three minutes make me hungry. The last three minutes make me angry.

  • Very informative video.

Please check out my channel if you keep fish I have some great HOW TO videos ;)

  • Adults should learn from the young people. They surely are more informed abot this subject and more concerned about their future.

  • Regardless of what you eat. Those fish are going to be caught.

  • @AlexKalicinski Lessing demand will eventually reduce the amount of fish being caught.

  • @ToUnpathedWaters Honestly there are more positive things you can do to help the pacific ocean. For one waste managment. There is a continent of garbage in the pacific rift. I think working on cleaning that is more important.

  • @AlexKalicinski Point 2 of this video was about reducing waste. This is a guide for everyday people to help keep the oceans healthy. Even if you manage to get rid of all the rubbish in the Pacific, it's not going to do any good if people continue to throw stuff into the ocean. Prevention is the best cure.

  • this is gay

  • How to care about earth?

  • How about Rupert Murdoch, CEO of News Corp., which owns Nat Geo stop supporting conservative politicians who are intent on selling out the ocean and every other natural resource on planet Earth so corporations can make a quick buck?

  • A good way to do this would be showing videos like this daily to little children in school. That would impact their decisions as much as McDonalds's advertisements do.

  • not enough people are mature enough to actually help. I dont eat seafood, neither do I eat meat. Vegetarianism will keep the world alive for that much longer. But that's not the point. People, do your part. Help planet Earth.

  • mother nature can exact her revenge on us humans, as long as I have my favorite beer mother nature can do what ever the hell she wants any day, except during the nfl super bowl.

  • The SMOG rolling through the air, as in China, is being absorbed by the oceans water....

It doesn't matter if "GLOBAL WARMING" is real or not....our pollution is DIRTY...clean energy is not.

  • I can't understand why people are so negative about this video. Blaming corpatations and rolling your eyes at what could one day be a reality is an easy task, but its an even easier task to just put hand up and take some resposability. This is your future people.

  • I do, do my part in keeping the Earth safe. But only a few are willing to do so. If only everyone has the same thinking and maturity, the Earth would be able to last long.

  • I wish the earth was clean and healthy again. I care about the environment so much. I don't want to be a human, we messed up our only planet very badly. If everyone makes changes to their lives, not drastic changes, just changes, we could help.

  • Oh yeah, I'm sure restaurants are going to start listing "toxicity levels" on their menus, right away.

  • Looks like NAT GEO forgot one - put decent fucking caps on your oil rigs.

  • I added this to my favorites list on my channel.

  • Good to know.

  • If a species is in danger of becoming extinct, you should just farm it. Create artificial reefs from concrete blocks and give the sea life a better place to thrive. Fish farming is how you counter over-fishing.

  • People are just as guilty as corporations!!!! It is our way of living and our consumerism that drive forward corporations! If you americans drove less SUVs, the demand for oil would be reduced! If you stopped buying stuff for style, trend, then you only encourage corporations!

  • We Suck :((((( humans fuck up everything

  • its a moral and education problem of humanity

  • ugh i hate the music

  • i love your game (animal jam) im wom9 on animal jam!

  • How about we all stop fishing for 1 year and let the fish population grow again!!!

  • @matthewlovesbritney many people (typically around the islands) don't have a choice - they have to eat fish. the main problem is the human population is increasing way too much and too quickly.

  • @schmidtbag yes thats true:) well they should be able to fish but all us in big contries and that should cut right down.

  • I Would Find It Very Useful To Find Out The Numbers Of Plastics That Can be Recycled. I Try To Recycle Everything But I Know Some Of My Plastics Can not Be Recycled. If I Knew Witch One I Would Avoid Buying Them.

  • Bullshit, the only way to care for the ocean is to leave them alone.. It's like trying to raise an army against the terrorists. WHO THE FUCK TOLD THE AMERICAN TO ATTACK THEM IN THE FIRST PLACE..

  • so people out there

    :

    :

    :

    :

    :

    :

    stop peeing on waters

  • Dear Canadian Navy: Start sinking those fucking Portuguese Trawlers illegally fishing off Newfoundland's coast. It's not our fault the Cod Stocks collapsed in 1992, we know when to stop, the don't care.

  • One more day and not a single F*** was given...

  • why are they telling us how to care for the ocean? Shouldn't they be telling this to BP and the rest of those corporate fucks?

  • @TrueGreatness73 Not everyone cares about the ocean. Even though you may care there are small time fishers who need the ocean to eat and instead of caring they just fish longer, and look for more fish to eat.

  • @TrueGreatness73 ... It's always The people who are blamed for pollution . This propaganda by National Geographic is shameful .No mention of the Corporations here .Easy to blame the People .

  • @TrueGreatness73 EXACTLY!!! The Gulf of Mexico will never be the same...

  • @TrueGreatness73 i know we "normal ppl" do the least amount of damage and we are the only ones that help...but what about those oil companies? its so frustrating how companies just do what they please

  • @TrueGreatness73 Because every small act makes a change

  • @TrueGreatness73 no because the change must start with the people "for the people by the people" and if the people catch on the the corps will follow suit because their will be money to be made by actually doing something right

  • @NaturalNaturePro please explain what does your statement have to do with mine? Read carefully this time.

  • @TrueGreatness73,

They're telling us because WE can make a difference. If we don't do our part, we're every bit as guilty as they are.

  • @TrueGreatness73 I think that this documentory is along the same theme line as buying only diamonds that are tracable and not blood diamonds.

I live overlooking the ocean and humans do need to know that the earth is under our stewardship.

  • 9th FUCK

  • FUAAAAAAAZAA

  • I was thinking maybe we should start with shutting down nuclear power plants. I bet radiation that is leaking into our ocean from Fukushima STILL, is Worse than plastic. I think BP oil LEAK, that was broke down with Corexit, would be a good place to start. How about we produce HEMP, which can be used for FUEL and it also absorbs Co2 carbons, we could grow our trees back, and make textiles with Hemp products producing jobs, and farming. How about if they stop Chemming our skies! JUST SAYIN!

  • Awesome. I'm just going ignore the selfish jerk that only care about what place they have their comment in. :)

  • mom at :47 mmmmmmm nice

  • post this on facebook (that will make a difrence to)

  • @jowie111 no fuck you, the last thing i need is a facebook wall spam

  • throw plastic bottles in the trash not out the car window.

  • 2nd!!!!! fuck yaaaayaah

  • Wow .. I'd volunteer for that kind of work if we had such pretty girls working together with.. Here where i am from they all wear the same shity everyday 365 days of the year, have dreadlocks and smell like garbage.. Plus i am thought to be "one of them" if i help out like this .. Yay..
