  • someone know where I could download this music?

  • Beautiful!

  • i just listened to this music piece in keyboarding class it was for a listening responce questions, since i listened to this song a thousand times it was easy for me to understand the assignment, thank you very must for uploading this song its the most brilliant than ever and it helped me know about it and unstand the feelings and emotions :)

  • I heard of the movie through this music.

  • which film is this? I loved it as a child but lost it when we moved house, I recognise it I just can't remember the name

  • @lucyr1896 the movie is the swan princess.

  • ive always love classical music so nothing sent me here i sent myself here cause i love this song

  • please can any one help me there is a song with this music a girl is singing it !! i cant just remember her name or i think she is in band or something if any one know please just tell me :) thanks

  • Why isnt she credited as a disney princess?

  • @CaptainCrimsonCC The movie wasn't made by Disney

  • beautiful

  • i always liked the named oddette but i jus couldn't remember where i heard it frm. now i remember that my sis bought th e movie for me when i was smaller.

  • this music kinda reminds me of Sleeping Beauty :)

  • @michaelguarasci I'm not surprised. Once Upon a Dream from the Disney version of Sleeping Beauty is from the ballet Sleeping Beauty by Tchaikovsky, the same man who made Swan Lake. It's all good music though, isn't it? :3

  • I love this song & movie !

  • i love this song! i just love it, no biggie..

  • Why are most princesses blonde?

  • @imntafckingsaint Why does hair color matter?

  • @imntafckingsaint because blonde is feminine

  • @12345678909269 And brunettes aren't?

  • @theamazingsoter Blonde is more, imagine a guy with bleach blonde messy hair and blue eyes. It would look abit more feminine while a brunette with dark eyes look more masculine. I know it sounds weird but that's my impression of hair colors.

  • @12345678909269 That's just a stupid Barbie stereotype. If you read the original fairy tales you'll find out that most princesses (except for Rapunzel and some other) are brunette or dark haired: Snow White, Aurora, Cinderella, etc.

  • @theamazingsoter Perhaps, i dont really care what hair color princesses in Disney movies have. But media has for a while now always portayed women with blonde hair that's why many female stars are blonde. But i do think guys with dark brown hair and brown eyes and dark eyebrowns looks more "Masculine" i have blondish hair and green eyes and i feel abit feminie lookin cause of that. I'm a boy.

  • @imntafckingsaint most royal families are related.

  • @RandomxPosterxGirl S.O.P.A

  • this reminds me of the movie Billy Eliot, and if you havent watched it well your missing out.

  • My theme. Great video!

  • where do you found the music?

  • I now this since i was a 4 years old , because i danced Ballet (:

    Sorry for my bad English.

  • i had this movie when was a young girl... good memories :D

  • Ballet is my favorite dance!

  • Just watched Of Gods and Men. I didn't think of "The Swan Princess" at all. The movie and music are very interesting...

  • Just watched Black Swan. Thought of "The Swan Princess" through out the entire movie lol

  • have any of u noticed that the entire swan lake story is in the music?

  • 0:12. Ouch. "Beauty and the Beast" anyone?

  • its fitting

  • does she die in the end in the cartoon?

  • scary.................

  • Love it!!

  • mooi :)

  • This music makes this movie seem even more epic!

    I always think;

    "I am... Dracula"

    When I hear this music

  • It's amazing that countless people learned about this monumental work through the movie... What a world we live in.

  • @s900203

For me, it was the movie Dracula

  • @s900203 You mean "Black Swan"? Really? I thought this was like the second most popular piece of classical music after Fur Elise...

  • @s900203 I've heard it coming from an ice cream truck before

  • @s900203 If you are being cynical and sarcastic, than I agree completely :D

  • @s900203 so? whats wrong with that? i for example didn't get the chance to come across it, maybe one day i would but for now I'm grateful that i saw this through the movie cause thats what the director of the movie wanted, to introduce to people a masterpiece, one of many.

  • her dress was always my favourite of all the princess dresses, disney and not alike...the one with the emerald green sleeves...:-)

  • I loved this movie when I was a kid!

  • I love this song, although, i've never heard of this movie

  • This gives me goosebumps always has.

  • I love this take on Swan Lake.... I used to watch this movie errday when I was a wee one.

  • i bet she dusnt kill herself at the end like the original story lol

  • When I was little, I went around the house with my silver locket and my white nightgown, pretending I was Odet. :D

  • awww I remember this music and this movie from my childhood :')

  • In every Swan Lake video I watch, someone's writing about the movie Black Swan. Maybe I should go see it..? What do you say, people? Am I missing out on something spectacular here?

  • @Synnerligen Well it's a thriller and a little creepy but Natalie Portman is just fantastic. Really, I hadn't noticed she was that excellent actress. Although I am sad so many people had to watched a Hollywood movie to learn about Tchaikovsky, I am happy they found him even by this way. I suggest to all these people to look for more music of this genius and I suggest to you to go watch the movie even if you are not a thriller-type.

  • I think the movie Black Swan changed everyone's perspective of good music!!

  • My High school band did this as our show freshman year. The music is soo beautiful. When I saw Black Swan I was humming every tune because it was so familiar to me!!!

  • i love this movie and of course tchaikovsky

  • I am so happy that Black Swan helped me find this music. Also, the movie is amazing

  • You are welcome

  • ewwww. he looks ugly at 0:26 his freakin buck teeth. gross! get some braces!!!

  • is the swan princess from disney or no? o:

  • Disney is the best!

  • I wore out my VHS copy of Swan Lake years ago because I loved the story and the musical score. I saw Swan Princess, but I was disappointed because they didn't use Tchaikovsky's ballet as the music. Now, I have Swan Lake on DVD, so I is uber Happy :)

  • Man, I LOVE THIS SONG!!! It's just incredibly beautiful!

  • so your a gay fish?

  • This is music as it should be. It people listened more to compositions like this and less to the mental chewing gum that takes up most radio shows, well I think the world would be better off.

  • lol..r u serious what a quesion.. the song is called Swan Lake by Tchaikovsky..twas originally made for a ballet performance

  • there's a lot of drama going on in that clip.

  • Same thing a get banned for many times from the cbox of the Hamtaro fan site called Ham Ham Paradise and I get very disappointed for not posting any messages on that cbox.

  • What the name of that song?

  • Disney had plans to make an animated movie out of Tchaikovsky's original play. Then, they realized they would only make a copy of the The Swan Princess and backed-off.

  • @CresseliaandShaymin

  • The Prince kills himself after that ._.

She turns into a Swan forever in the original story and he ends his own life

    Sorry for the spoiler?

  • That muzik open souls and hearts. P.Tchaikovsky was genius. Phenomenal!!

  • @Abiggell "MUSIC" not "MUSIK". STUPID BASTARD. Learn to write!

  • @frecuenciaprimera

Actually, she wrote "MUZIK", not "MUSIK". Learn how to read!!

  • @Cherimoyah Worst then.

  • @frecuenciaprimera - Hmmm....Music of course. I ´m sorry phenomenal Tchaikovsky....but I will not make one´s excuse TO YOU!! You´re rude....embarrassing biddy! English language isn´t my native language - sabe??

  • I always loved this movie and Odette, but somehow I always thought that guy was a bit nerdy, especially with that haircut.

  • I don't like this new version of Swan Lake... the old movie had much more good looking swans and Odettes :p

  • wat old movie?

  • Swan Lake (1981) the movie is on youtube ;)

  • I agree I like the 1981 Swan Lake alot better..for some reason Odette seems more sweet and Kinder there..this one here seems..eeee not so good

  • Good AMV

  • this is perfect , i am very sad that one day i will die and i will stop listening it!!!

  • This is awesome!

The music in the film is great, but I wonder what it would have been like with the music from the original ballet.

  • Who are the performers for this rendition?

  • Peter Tchaikovsky

  • it gave me shivvers

  • OMG!!! You did a really good job!!! I love this movie!!!

  • the prince is weird

  • this is my favorite movie in all the world!!!!!!!!!!!! i used to sit at home and eat cooked cold hot dogs child hood is calling omg love it love it love it

  • very good job, this was amazing

  • I like Odette, a princess that beautful with blone hair, white dress, and have been placed under a powerful spell by an evil villain.

  • aaa yes...the mastrepiece from the Maestro Pjotr Tchaikovsky, simply breathtaking....too bad i was born in wrong century....I would have been there...in the Halls of Prague Orchestra House, listening to this ...sigh

  • gave me chills

  • Oh my. I got goosebumps. Good job!

  • Oh my gosh! I loved this movie so much as a child. I remember how I wanted hair like hers. Haha.

  • Haha me too! I made my mum make me that dress as well ^^

  • I dont like the film but I love the song

  • They could have made the prince more desirable.

  • hubba hubba

  • I love it! The Swan Princess is one of my favorite animated movies. Tchaikovsky was a genius when composing this song

  • @CresseliaandShaymin your right tchaikovsky was a genius but god only knows why he regreted making some of his most famous pieces

  • @CresseliaandShaymin I think he's more than a genius! This song blow me away everytime!

  • @CresseliaandShaymin he was not genius ;) nether are you

  • @Mcrxwolf What are you inclining?

  • @CresseliaandShaymin "inclining"? I don't know that word =)

  • @Mcrxwolf Then why bother insulting me then.

  • the thing with fairy tales is that they take you to another world and make you think that whatever happens there can happen in real life too,but you wake up and discover that reality is harsh and cruel

  • omg you're so right ='(

  • Sure, but real life has good parts too. Like falling in love with someone who loves you too, spending time with real friends, the sky on a clear night and forests in summertime. Just because we can't transform by moonlight or be crowned princess or princesses doesn't negate that. And if we don't believe in something better, how can we find it? That's why I personally like fairy tales

  • yes that's right, but sometimes you miss a perfect life. of course, life has many exciting moments... but where are the real wonders?

  • i have never seen this movie...

    i want to though...

    whats the story about?

  • This is certainly one of my favorite movies of all-time... but it lacked something that other movies had. This movie lacked pacing and proper conversations of some sort. But overall, it was a preferrable movie =D

  • You're right, the pacing was off. What bugged me, even when I was little, was Derek was like "OMG you're so hot!" Odette was offended, left, got kidnapped and suddenly they're smitten with each other, talking about eternity and whatnot.

    Still love it though :)

  • Yeah, right? Finally someone agrees... Even though I liked how sweet the movie was, the conversations were kinda awkward and how the characters changed moods so quickly kinda threw me off. Plus, the villains were too silly to look 'impressive'. The villains from Snow White and Sleeping Beauty's Maleficent were the best villains I could remember.

  • I know! they were so comical and stupid, I wasn't intimidated by them at all. you just knew from the first second you saw them that they (that is, the wizard and his assistant lady, forgot their names) would be defeated, unlike malificent etc. would give you chills (at least as a little girl)

but, you know, at least our memories don't only consist of barbie 3D movies :) like our next generation. We have Disney movies :P

  • Yup! Disney movies rock! =D The newcoming shows in newer generations get dumber and dumber every time. I mean, look what happened to Spongebob...
