i just listened to this music piece in keyboarding class it was for a listening responce questions, since i listened to this song a thousand times it was easy for me to understand the assignment, thank you very must for uploading this song its the most brilliant than ever and it helped me know about it and unstand the feelings and emotions :)
please can any one help me there is a song with this music a girl is singing it !! i cant just remember her name or i think she is in band or something if any one know please just tell me :) thanks
i always liked the named oddette but i jus couldn't remember where i heard it frm. now i remember that my sis bought th e movie for me when i was smaller.
@michaelguarasci I'm not surprised. Once Upon a Dream from the Disney version of Sleeping Beauty is from the ballet Sleeping Beauty by Tchaikovsky, the same man who made Swan Lake. It's all good music though, isn't it? :3
@theamazingsoter Blonde is more, imagine a guy with bleach blonde messy hair and blue eyes. It would look abit more feminine while a brunette with dark eyes look more masculine. I know it sounds weird but that's my impression of hair colors.
@12345678909269 That's just a stupid Barbie stereotype. If you read the original fairy tales you'll find out that most princesses (except for Rapunzel and some other) are brunette or dark haired: Snow White, Aurora, Cinderella, etc.
@theamazingsoter Perhaps, i dont really care what hair color princesses in Disney movies have. But media has for a while now always portayed women with blonde hair that's why many female stars are blonde. But i do think guys with dark brown hair and brown eyes and dark eyebrowns looks more "Masculine" i have blondish hair and green eyes and i feel abit feminie lookin cause of that. I'm a boy.
@s900203 so? whats wrong with that? i for example didn't get the chance to come across it, maybe one day i would but for now I'm grateful that i saw this through the movie cause thats what the director of the movie wanted, to introduce to people a masterpiece, one of many.
In every Swan Lake video I watch, someone's writing about the movie Black Swan. Maybe I should go see it..? What do you say, people? Am I missing out on something spectacular here?
@Synnerligen Well it's a thriller and a little creepy but Natalie Portman is just fantastic. Really, I hadn't noticed she was that excellent actress. Although I am sad so many people had to watched a Hollywood movie to learn about Tchaikovsky, I am happy they found him even by this way. I suggest to all these people to look for more music of this genius and I suggest to you to go watch the movie even if you are not a thriller-type.
My High school band did this as our show freshman year. The music is soo beautiful. When I saw Black Swan I was humming every tune because it was so familiar to me!!!
I wore out my VHS copy of Swan Lake years ago because I loved the story and the musical score. I saw Swan Princess, but I was disappointed because they didn't use Tchaikovsky's ballet as the music. Now, I have Swan Lake on DVD, so I is uber Happy :)
AND ALSO THE ORIGINAL SOUNDTRACK OF THE ANIME MOVIE SWAN LAKE 1970'S 80'S BY TOEI ANIMATION....LOVE TCHAIKOVSKY SONGS 4 EVER...IM A BIG FAN OF CLASSICAL MUSIC SINCE CHILDHOOD
This is music as it should be. It people listened more to compositions like this and less to the mental chewing gum that takes up most radio shows, well I think the world would be better off.
Same thing a get banned for many times from the cbox of the Hamtaro fan site called Ham Ham Paradise and I get very disappointed for not posting any messages on that cbox.
Disney had plans to make an animated movie out of Tchaikovsky's original play. Then, they realized they would only make a copy of the The Swan Princess and backed-off.
@frecuenciaprimera - Hmmm....Music of course. I ´m sorry phenomenal Tchaikovsky....but I will not make one´s excuse TO YOU!! You´re rude....embarrassing biddy! English language isn´t my native language - sabe??
Mrs. Frecuenciaprimera are you make it up translation? So please : " Seš neuvěřitelně intolerantní, peruánský jelito". Ciao bum-sucker.

Just because we can't transform by moonlight or be crowned princess or princesses doesn't negate that. And if we don't believe in something better, how can we find it? That's why I personally like fairy tales
This is certainly one of my favorite movies of all-time... but it lacked something that other movies had. This movie lacked pacing and proper conversations of some sort. But overall, it was a preferrable movie =D

I know! they were so comical and stupid, I wasn't intimidated by them at all. you just knew from the first second you saw them that they (that is, the wizard and his assistant lady, forgot their names) would be defeated, unlike malificent etc. would give you chills (at least as a little girl)
