  • I would score this earthquake a 8 because most of the building were diminished but there were on cracks in the grown.

  • is this another one of those reruns that happens over and over like 9/11. 7 billion people trying to survive in the world where all the odd are against them. kind like rats trying to survive when vultures prey on them. Sooner or later the vultures will figure out where the rats live. We are like mosquitos to nature; and nature just wants to get rid of us.

  • I am a little 10 year old Mexican girl RIP good Mexican people

  • Not to worry Mexico spends 4 million dollars in a party that lost 4 hours. This means Mexico has millions of dollars just to enter, if something bad happens again. Mexico government steals that's why Mexico is how is.

  • I am a Mexican girl (I was born on April 6, 1995 in Texas) but my grandmother is fully mexican and she's was born in Satillo, Mexico on 13 September 1937 (I am proud to be a Mexican girl) My mother is bilingual she speaks both languages at once :)

But I feel bad for those mexican ppl that died in that ugly and terrible earthquake :(

  • I found it quite inappropriate when they used "happy/joyful" music on 3:27-3:38.

HELLO!! People were hurt/injured dying/dead! Not appropriate!!

  • @MADDOG6400 you are right! i think same, this music is innapropiate!! sorry i dont speak and write english very much but i feel tell you this

  • our country is big and nothing wikk ever take it out from we have alwais work together and we alwais end up wining.

2010 has been a har year since drugdealers reveld but i know that we will win this war

  • the segment of the video mentioning about amateur radio proves that disasters do not necessarily paralyze communication systems. traditional communications will be compromised but amateur radio provides the essential communications during a disaster.

  • im from mexico too and these we would remember for ever :( mexico pudo levantarse de esto haiti & chile tambien animo!

  • I also remember this.. I was three years old.. but I remember my mom carrying me on her shoulders and taking me to see buildings that were damaged be demolish. I wonder what the skyline would look like now if this had not happened?

  • i was a little boy when this happened but we were in the east part of michoacan my mom says my grandmas house shook really bad... god bless haiti and chile.

  • i have a feeling the next earthquakes gonna be in california

  • @romano008 well not exatly NEXT but soo. The "san andreas fault" the big daddy of them all is getting ready to release its power to mind kind lol no really.

  • I think mexico and california are going to have serious earthquakes in the next 2 years

  • @neonangelbomb Britain has to be the safest country on earth, no earthquakes, no tornados (well we have had numerous gentle earthquakes and tornados but thats it) its very rare to come across any dangerous wildlife, no volcanoes, no hurricanes. I still want to move to Mexico though lol this country is boring and dull and miserable, ill take earthquake over Britain anyday.

  • @willnicholson18 Mexico is not that bad. Mexico have nice warm sunny weather rather than cold, gloomy, and grey skies of Britain. ;-)

  • @foxthorne I know, which is why i am trying to move there. :)

  • who cares isnt like its perfect nothings perfect

  • @neonangelbomb I agree and I don't know if a serious earthquake and tsunami could strike Florida in the next 2 years the end is coming !!!!

  • @PlanetXObserver The end is not coming. Stop worring about things that are out of our control. Enjoy life.

  • @neonangelbomb Really???? And how do you know that???? Not even experts can predict with certainty when the next earthquake will happen. Don't post things that may create fear.

  • @KanaY2K3 LOL.. you are reacting this way because it happend... look, sadly enough, it´s easy to predict this events just by knowing how the goverment works, some "natural phenomenos" are not that natural

  • @neonangelbomb No!!!! Really???? Thought it was just a movie...... oh please so its all a conspiracy from the Gov. Right???? They don't want to tell us nothing.

  • @neonangelbomb Come on! Go and find something productive to do...

  • @romano008 Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm really?? What makes you think that????

  • @ 22:11 wow i cried.. poor baby...

  • Chile just had an earthquake.....damm :(

  • ;( I'm sooo sad altough I did not suffer this earthquake it's my country. If u guys don't belive that mexico is my country then here is the proof: soy de mexico,( it means. I'm from Mexico)

  • My. Country. Damn. You earthquakes

  • Remember the tsunami in Indonesia? Bunch of press, and help but at the same time Mexico they suffered a huge mud slides from a hurricane, and nothing. Our neighbors get nothing and people who are thousands of miles away get everything. Mexico is more of an ally than Indonesia will ever be. Que pinche mierda! -TX

  • actually other countries offered he;p but the president at that time denied them... later on it reconsidered and let in foreign countries... i think the reason was international debt... remember that the goverment in that time wasnt all that honest...

  • truly awasome i feel so proud of my dad helping in this he was only 18 when he went to aid the people

  • i was there when i happend in 1985 i was in Guadalajara very hard experience i had family in guzman

  • 21:45-22:00

    22:33...

    Heartbreaking...

    lóbrego.

  • @Smilthy yes it´s scary, and it´s sad that Haití is suffering this kind of disaster, and it´s impressive the international help too, not justo from México and other Latin American nations, but from other parts of the world, God bless that poor people and we hope the help works fast, we already have the experience of the past, and we hope to know what to do if this kind of disasters happens again, hope not.

  • @Smilthy

totally that last one made me cry

  • Omg instead of moving they stay wtf!

  • They have strict standards on constructing buildings to withstand 8.0 magnitudes now a days.

  • this is real you stupid ass!

  • Earthquakes don't kill people, buildings kill people.

  • @jimmyhd1969

    like 1999 17 august turkey

    baddest build houses

    we payed heavy to back

  • My mom was in the subway when this happened, and had a building collapse on top of them, but luckily, as you can see, she survived. It was just the trauma that stayed with her, but I think it has passed now.

  • Tomorrow 08/28/2009 expecting strong earthquake in Central Italy. In 14h (UTC).

  • you were wrong retard

  • the same thing happend to my mom this happend when she was a little girl she was like 10 well she was running lat for school and as she was walking to school the earthquake happend and she see her school collapse but saldy he couzin died in the school so thank got she was running late

  • return period every??

    Ri=(n+1)/m

  • that stupid lakebed the city is on amplified the shaking which is why the damage was so great, I mean the earthquake was centered over 350 km away from the city.

  • yep but the frquency only afected 3 to 5 storie buildings, that means, because of time, the energy unleashed, + corruption made this, that means, this scenario can easily be reproduced specially in mexico city, among other cities laying on the failure, and probably all along de fire belt aroun de globe

  • My Dad Was Still In Mexico When That Happend!

  • What part of Mexico?

  • in mexico city

  • Mexico City

  • This is creepy my mom was in mexico that time before she had me

  • my brother was being born when this happend lol
