@yuna0890 That's not the point of the show. They're not ventriloquists. And I do believe all ventriloquists stand on stage with their puppets---how else would you tell if they were moving their lips or not?

@jordyboi76 No I think what she means is that you need to stand on stage with your puppet when you are a ventriloquist- but why stand there with a puppet and move your mouth.... I do not understand either. It would spoil it for me even thou the writing and voices are great -:)

@yuna0890 When the authors of the musical did the first trial, on-stage reading, they loved how it looked with puppeteers on stage. They intended something like Sesame Street, puppets interacting with humans. But later on they loved how it looked with the puppeteers, so they let them in the show. This show demands far more suspension of disbelief than any other. You know it when you get there. The lyrics are the important thing anyway. If you see it as a Sesame Street spoof it figures.
