when i was like..7 i used to listen to this song in the car ride to my grandmothers house..i heard it on the radio a few days ago..and i finally found it =)
So my mother and father were musicians and played this song often long ago. They loved it so much, they named me Christopher Robin. My father passes away in 93 when i was 12. Ever since, this song has put a smile on my face no matter where i'm at, cant help it. Now I have a 2 year old, and she will carry this song with her, thinking of her daddy, just as i think of mine. thank you.
I sang this song to my son when he nursing. It was the first song he played on the sax! When I am sad or troubled, he plays this song. It is part of our culture. Thank you for the pics. See you at Pooh corner!
thank you so much for putting this video together. i'm a thirteen year old girl sitting at the home where my parents and i used to live. my parents are now divorced, and my mom lives 5 hrs away. i'm living with my dad. when i was little, before they separated, my mom would sing this to me a lot. so thanks. it's bringing back good memories.
yOu're very much welcome..thank you for sharing your life story..i really appreciate it..continue to be a strong person..take care..and God bless you always
i have loved this song forever my mom and i used to sing it all the time...when i was really little...thank you so much for putting this together<33333
I'm a grandmother raising my 3yo granddaughter. I've sung this to her every night for the last 2 1/2 years. She watched your video for about 10 times in the last hour, and is now asleep on my shoulder. Thank you for putting this sweet video together, from both of us.
This song is about the loosing the innocence of child and how, in this version, and as a parent we need to find it again. If you think thats gay, then I feel nothing but pitty for you.
i adore this song it has been my favorite since i was really little and i just love the way that you put it together:D thank you so much for making this it is just wonderful :D
thank you for this. this song has more meaning when you have a child in your life (my niece) who's seeing Pooh for the first time and reliving all that magic.
i listened to this song the day before i lost my son so its got some sentimental value to it thank you to whoever posted it you made me remember my lil boy
Listening to this song, along with my dad in his car when i was young, is one of my first memories. I love Logins and this song. Makes me all teary eyed when i hear it.
This is the first song that I learned to play with a gutar.I always had goosebumps everytime I play this song, it reminds me of all the memories in my childhood days. I play this song together with Joni Mitchell's CIRCLE GAME
I've loved this song since the original came out over 30 years ago. Kenny Loggins hit a strong chord with me when he produced Return. It brings to mind the pure innocence of childhood and how our children need all that parents have to offer and to never forget to be too far from that innocence.
Love the song would like to know how I can post it else where I would like to post it on myspace for my grandsons 7th birthday fyi his name came from this song just spelt differently Kristofer Robin
Wonderful!I was either smiling or laughing the whole
way through this.I love Winnie the Pooh.Or as my grandma used to call him,"That cute little yellow bear".She passed away last July at 95 years of age.
The two will always be linked together in my mind. patybear
I just realized that this is the only character I know of that wears only a shirt and no pants-haha. Anyways, Kenny Loggins is a little before my time and this is the first time I have ever heard this song. It is sweet and if I ever were to have kids, I can play this for them. Looking at some of the other videos of Loggins, he seems like a nice guy-it would be cool to meet him someday :)
I love the point Kenny makes in this song: If you let it disappear, it will. Hold on to it, it will stay. I have yet to let go of my childhood still. He never fails to get that across to me when I listen to it...
Im not complaining, mind you, but I wish you would have used more of the classic Pooh images. The pre-Disney ones. Regardless, it was a smashing video and it is going DIRECTLY to my favorites.
