  • I think you do a disservice to Richard, he tries new tunes on an audience and they work some but but not others; one person nectar is another persons poison. I am sure that all good DJ's introduce new tunes and understand evolution within the music industry; if they didn't we would stuck be listening to charlston tunes!

  • Both Clara Ward and the Ambers were actually Va-Va "classics" prior to Wigan (just ask Richard Searling!) "Chains Of Love" was a Twisted Wheel side. Lou Edwards & Today's People "Talking 'Bout Poor Folks" was initially a Blackpool Mecca spin in 1973, which was revived in 1975.
