I also quizzed him regarding the release date. Unfortunately all he would say is that it will be released "SOON".

I don't know if you think that making a film is cheap, easy, quick or fun, it's NOT. Fox has spent years of his time and effort making this a reality, and without ANY sort of official investment (I guess it's more important to finance another season of American Idol) it's now down to people interested in this to help pay the production costs.
Producing DVD's is long and expensive. I've been talking to Mr. Fox, he's working night and day, and he's got other projects going on at the same time.

If the makers of this movie have overspent on stringing video clips and interviews together I would nt have a problem donating to help pay for costs but if its being sold as an entertaining movie then I want my moneys worth like all the other Hollywood vids on the shelf.
And I didn't mean to be snippy, and you're right he is selling a product. Because of the possibility of "Into the Blue" being a full theatrical release, his agent stopped DVD production. That's why you can't find it in stores. This next film is being worked on (slaved over) 24-7.
The interviews come from seven or more countries around the world! That means flying a film crew and equipment, lodging and food, cost of shooting. Plus editing 150+ hours of footage into 2 1/2 hours is hard work!
But see it all comes down to money, and when its about money then you also get corruption, and when theres corruption than people do whatever just to get a dollar, its sad really, but maybe Mr. Fox will not follow down that path, maybe he is a decent Human being
Your point is true, but essentially inapplicable to Mr. Fox. If you think he's making money off of this, you're mistaken. In a perfect world where there was no roadblocks to information like this coming out he'd have no troubles and the film would be out by now.
I've been in contact off and on with Fox. Due to the volume of emails he gets they're just short responses, but for six months now he's been saying that this film would be out in a month or two. The release of this film will...
...almost certainly meet the guidelines for some political agenda, particularly if it does succeed in a theatrical release.
The reason the copies he sells online are priced at $100 is because ~20% of the original film is going to be interspersed throughout Beyond the Blue (working title), so a DVD release would be (according to the producers) unwise if a theatrical release were on the table.
I feel there is an attempt to control the release of this film, and the information contained in it.
Out of the Blue is the best UFO doc. out there, would love to see this one in theaters. If this is anything close to Out of the Blue. then it deserves to be.

I also can't even begin to imagine how intrusive adbuction is, is there anything that could be done to us that would be more offensvie, apart from killing us, which I also believe some of them have done i.e. crashing planes. Regardless of how many species of ETI are visiting us, some more friendly then others? I would say they need to re-think about what they're doing.

IOt's obvious that were now being visited by ETI, I can accept that now, but I would be very reserved as far as those ETI are concerned, and their agenda. I don't believe for one minute they give a shit about us, they must know we know they are visiting us yet they still insist on these periodic sightings?? I share your opinions on this. They show no sign of friendliness, and they are often telling people they are here to help and being sent by God... Yet they always stay hidden, perhaps for thousands of years. You might have an interest for the old [ca.1990] magazine "Alien Digest" by the late Ron Rummel [controversy about his death]. I don't know if you think that making a film is cheap, easy, quick or fun, it's NOT. Fox has spent years of his time and effort making this a reality, and without ANY sort of official investment (I guess it's more important to finance another season of American Idol) it's now down to people interested in this to help pay the production costs.
Producing DVD's is long and expensive. I've been talking to Mr. Fox, he's working night and day, and he's got other projects going on at the same time.

If the makers of this movie have overspent on stringing video clips and interviews together I would nt have a problem donating to help pay for costs but if its being sold as an entertaining movie then I want my moneys worth like all the other Hollywood vids on the shelf.

And I didn't mean to be snippy, and you're right he is selling a product. Because of the possibility of "Into the Blue" being a full theatrical release, his agent stopped DVD production. That's why you can't find it in stores. This next film is being worked on (slaved over) 24-7.
The interviews come from seven or more countries around the world! That means flying a film crew and equipment, lodging and food, cost of shooting. Plus editing 150+ hours of footage into 2 1/2 hours is hard work!

Your point is true, but essentially inapplicable to Mr. Fox. If you think he's making money off of this, you're mistaken. In a perfect world where there was no roadblocks to information like this coming out he'd have no troubles and the film would be out by now.
I've been in contact off and on with Fox. Due to the volume of emails he gets they're just short responses, but for six months now he's been saying that this film would be out in a month or two. The release of this film will...

...almost certainly meet the guidelines for some political agenda, particularly if it does succeed in a theatrical release.
The reason the copies he sells online are priced at $100 is because ~20% of the original film is going to be interspersed throughout Beyond the Blue (working title), so a DVD release would be (according to the producers) unwise if a theatrical release were on the table.
I feel there is an attempt to control the release of this film, and the information contained in it.
