  • here is something funny if u and a buddy both try to remote start ur Camaro's at the same time for some reason it won't let u lol we found that out the hard way. also i've notice that u can only remote start the car twice after that u have get in and start the car ur self

  • now all i need is a Camaro

  • Guys On The car lols Faild thumbs up so he can se this

  • Some ppl are just retarded, The camero comes with a remote start I just brough mine 2 days ago and its the same exact key... even if someone is in the car, geesh he is just trying to help ppl, (myself) use the feature. get a life angry haters..Thanks for uploading and helping me

  • No one inside the car , and all GM cars like that

  • It did take a while for the car to turn on. Remote start once you press button it turns on!!!

  • In the first video you pressed 'lock' just once, not twice!!

  • @DerZaubererFN What "first" video?

  • @jdebler

Oups, nothing. I ment an other video, it wasn´t yours.

I watched it again, there he presses the button twice, too.

    Sorry, my fault :P

  • @DerZaubererFN No problem. It was originally said to need to be pressed twice, so I did. If you turn the annotations on, I mention it only takes one. Thanks!

  • i have this key. its a prank shocker key. that big shiny silver button up top

  • 0:08 someone is in the car

  • SOMEONE WAS IN THE CAR!

  • @PJazio hey shut up...it also works on dodge, all GM cars are like that!

  • @PJazio @caoalarconbsc - No one was in the car. Since remote start comes with the vehicle from the factory (look it up on the Chevrolet web site) and since you can clearly see the button for remote start on the key fob, it would be entirely pointless to try to "fake" a remote start operation when there is no need to.

  • don't let him stand in first gear !!!

  • @MarkSchrewe

Uhhhh, maybe to warm up the car and get the temp right b4 u get in so u can just get in and go. Just an advantage of living in the 21st century!

  • nice car :)

  • @akhan360

Dude, that's why I said "MOST". I've been to shops where they won't do the install because there have been occasions where the car has actually taken off when started. I never said it couldn't b done or that a shop wouldn't do it. There's just that risk, which is why I think car companies r smart not to offer it on their manual vehicles, too much of a potential liability.

  • looks like he has BMW front lights

  • i like the part 0:05 when he says: It's pretty simple, you have a key and you have a 2010 camaro..." lol... dude, i have a scooter piaggio zip 2t man , of corse it's pretty simple

  • lol

  • Did you see the guy at 0:08 in the car? xD

  • Did you see the gus at 0:08 in the car? xD

  • @blowupuate13

This is an L99 car so it has it. The LS3 cars don't have remote start. Cars typically dont come with remote start for a manual trans. Most aftermarket shops won't even take on putting a remote start system in a manual car for fear of it taking off, it happens all the time. Search for it.

  • @0TheLostArtist0 incorrect, even stores like futureshop (and best buy) will do manual transmission installs for an extra $50, just a matter of bypassing the clutch. Aftermarket alarm/starter support is huge for manual transmission vehicles.

  • @archiemaco

How is this fake and or gay?

  • bumblebee lets roll!!!!!!!!!

  • Lol I have the controler, now I need the camaro...

  • I gotta try this, my dad left me that same key in case I ever want to use the car :D.

  • i have 2010 camaro but i forgot to guy's pocket.

  • I'd always imagined it was pronounced ca-maar-o. Is it normally pronounced cam-eh-ro in the USA?

  • that logo inverted lol! !!

  • I don't have the 2010 Camaro. Could you sent it to me please?

  • Sweet.-3

  • I wish someone would come out with a push button start for the camaro

  • Dammit, I can almost do this! I just need a... hmm what did he say.. I think it was a 2010 Camaro... AH WELL.. who needs all those unnecessary parts.

  • thank you

  • ثاانك يووو

  • Não sei se vc entende portugues, mas achei maneiro este video

com faz pra desligar o camaro no controle , tem como ?

I like this video, but how you do to takeoff camaro´s engine using the control ?

I don´t know to wiright in english , i m not too good , hahahahaha

  • how do i get the camero?

  • key looks like a opel insignia one :)

  • @nvtuning Not too odd, considering both are GM cars ;)

  • ...do people really need this video? Oh lord

  • But won't you need to have the car in neutral and the clutch pressed to start the car?

  • Mine i just lock and then press until the horn goes off then i let it go and it turns on mines a 2012 rally sport tho

  • Love Camaro

  • you need a 2010 camaro? OH NO!

  • i have the key...i only need the camaro

  • chłopie ja to juz ma w mojym samochodzie od 6 lat

  • I have a key, but no camaro... anybody can help? One camaro would be enough, I don`t even mind the color much :)

  • Quick question, when you start up the Camaro using remote start, does it unlock the doors or will it stay locked till you hit the unlock button?

  • Do you set it up custom for the Halo's to come on. My stupid car turns on the fog lights.

  • @IXGQ4LifeXI I might have turned the knob to have them come on and then made the video...I don't remember. Been a while. :)

  • @JeffYaddow ive never sen a C5 with paddle shifters only a C6

  • Can u drive with the key? :D

  • Aaaaaannd, what exactly do you need remote start for? It just wastes petrol....

  • @MarcSchrewe To correctly warm up the vehicle in cold weather so it doesn't do damage when driving.

  • Wish i had your car :D but i couldn't afford to keep it >.< wish i was rich :D

  • @EndureFocusEngageDie - Me too!

  • @EndureFocusEngageDie you dont have to be rich just get a base model lol

  • You sir have one nice looking car.

  • i was just wondering is whats the point of having a start buttun on a remote.

is it for like winter starts. to heat it up while ur still in the house ??

    thanx :)

  • @abbreviateTome - Usually that is what people use it for.

  • does this comes with the LS and LT too?

  • you need to have automatic transmision to use that option? cause i was thinking..if it was manual and i let it park with 1'st gear on..and useing that remote start, the engine will die

  • @JeffYaddow In my opinion, it's not a manual unless you have a clutch pedal. All of these cars with the "manual mode" are just automatics with the ability to allow you to tell them when to shift.

  • doesnt even sound like a sports car. sounds like a damn corolla

  • was it like that

  • Never understood why this feature was ever needed. You still have to get in the car to move.

  • @p4horror For those insanly hot summer days, you can have the AC on and enjoy a nice cool car instead of a 102 degree hot box

  • @p4horror I have a 2006 Impala with remote starter, it's really helpful on Canadian winter mornings.

Unlike aftermarket remote starters, this one has so many integrated features: It starts the A/C automatically (no need to preset) hot or cold depending on outside temp then turns off when you put the key in. The engine runs for 10 minutes and shuts off. Wont start if the hood is open so your hand wont get caught by any moving part. If the computer detects a malfunction will shut off.

  • That is fuckin CLEAN!!!!!!!!

  • @JeffYaddow Thanks, but since I own the car in the video, I know that. :) Did you mean to reply to someone else?

  • @jdebler you can facepalm yourself for the ending lol that was fuckin funny as hell

  • My 2010 chevy malibu LTZ has these paddle shifters too. So is this like a new Chevy thing?

  • There yuu hayve it.

Silly mid-westerners & their silly accents.

  • halo lights are the best

  • thumbs up on halo hid's

  • Comment removed

  • Cool! in i laugh when you laugh 0:30 XD i like your video! cheers!

  • Sooo...what is the logic behind this autostart? You LOCK the car and then START it? Why? If you want to drive you have to sit in it anyway. So you could start it then.

  • @BansheeBLN The purpose is to warm up your car on cold mornings. :)

  • @EmptyGamingHD x) or to cool it down on hot after noons

  • @vvcguy24 challengers? really?! HAHAHA!!!

  • i feel the dealership should tell you how its done.

  • Doesn't the key have the instructions on the back?

  • Challengers and corvettes shit on camaros..

  • @vvcguy24 Challengers? LOL. I got a 95 z28 and trust me, Challengers dont make me nervous unless its the SRT8 then im having to actually work. Vettes on the other hand....

  • so the automatic transmission in the camaro doesnt let you to change gears(manual mode) like most modern sports cars? :/

  • @UltrakupraRebirth

incorrect. There is a manual mode with tap shift (buttons on the back of the steering wheel).

  • @jdebler cool then you can rev like a manual transmission car :)

  • @UltrakupraRebirth

Not while in the manual "tap shift" mode, it can be done using the method mentioned before. I wouldn't want to be able to move it into neutral using tap-shift, that is asking for a mistake that will turn the transmission into very small pieces.

  • @UltrakupraRebirth Nope, unless you can hold a clutch pedal in with your foot, it's still just an automatic, although you have the option of "manual mode" or telling the transmission when to shift.

  • not a stick shift huh?

  • thumbs up for the rs package

  • i got a keyfob but im missing a 2010 camaro :(

  • ROFL @ 0:31

  • nice one mate !

  • Mine works if you hit the lock once !!!

  • you only have to hit the lock button once FYI

  • now chevy can get a commercial with a kid dressed up as luke skywalker.

  • my dream

  • hey can you rev an automatic? like its a manual?

  • @n70643 - You can in Park, of course...but when driving you can move the shifter into Neutral and rev the engine and then move it back in the Drive.

  • Comment removed

  • @jdebler thanks for showing us how it works

  • @jdebler Move it back into drive when the revs go back down. Unless you don't value your transmission.

  • @Koshman32 Are you referring to the mentioning above of when driving along, putting it in neutral, revving the engine, and then putting it back in drive? If so...excellent point. I envisioned that step in my mind, but forgot to type it out. Neutral drops don't look cool when dropping chinks of transmission behind. :) Thanks!

(I don't do them myself, no need IMO)

  • Clarification...put it back in drive when the engine goes back down to idle or you are asking for problems. Thanks, @Koshman32

  • @n70643

you while break something is you do this. specially in high rev

  • @khmerlbckid you can't break a automatic car. engines have rev limiters, even in if you floor it in nuetral.

  • See the color is sweet on Alkmaro

  • awesome car, hoping to get one by summer

  • It is not a key FOB. It is just a remote key!

  • This Camaro would be a little less of a fail if it wasn't an automatic.

  • @Gerberbaby922

Your comment would be a LOT less of a fail if it wasn't directed to my supercharged SEMA show car. Where's your manual Camaro? Is it parked next to your manual Ford Fusion? By the time you hit 60 in that econo-box, I am doing 100+ using the tap-shift derived to the Corvette. Nice try! :)

  • @jdebler Tap-Shift, also known as (depending on the company) autostick, select-shift, or auto-manual, are a total joke. I have the misfortune of having to use them to make a living. You can just put your foot down and it will up shift for you. There basically the same as a sport mode of a low gear shift schedule: they let you stay in a lower gear keep so u can stay in the power band. They are in no way comparable to a true manual transmission.

  • @Gerberbaby922

Thanks, but I already know what it is because I own it. I never said that are comparable to a true manual. Sorry that you have to work on them, but what you might not know in the Camaro A6 is that when in Manual/tap-shift mode, it will NOT upshift until you tell it to. If you are slow on the tap, the engine will bounce off the rev limiter until you shift. It leaves you in complete control. I have a trans cal in it so the shifts are sharp and quick. I see no need to hate.

  • @jdebler ur supercharged sema show car that mom and dad bought u?

i can find a 2010 ss for less than 30 gran, so don't think ur on top of the world

and forget that gerberbaby fool, with nowadays technology, u can go faster with paddle shifts (with certain cars)

great car nonetheless, i have the fortune of driving it many times at work.

  • @camsac LOL, I am not some kid. Since you want to get personal...I came from a low-income family I have been on my own since I was 17. I had my own place and decent job when I was still a senior in high school and all my cars were 100% paid for by me, right down to my first beater. Yes, anyone can buy a Camaro for 30 grand which makes it a great value right off the showroom but if someone can build what I built for less than 50 grand, it would one hell of a feat. Just proud of my machine. :)

  • @jdebler hahah alright my respect to u then, u sounded young in ur vid so i made a false assumption

  • @camsac

The transmissions that are quicker than pedal-clutched manuals are generally SMGs, which aren't really used anymore (they were on the Lambos, Ferrari 360/430 and E46 M3), and also the DSGs, which are more modern. Its rare for a torque-converter auto to be quicker than a manual.

  • @StigRossi yea ur exactly right, i knew it was only certain cars cos of my valet experience (lets juss say i had my fair share of playing around in the parking garage back in the day :P)

but yeh like the brand new m3, it shifts much faster cos the torque and boost is held throughout the shift onto the next gear, am i correct along those lines?

  • @jdebler

Agreed. Tho I think that its a bit poserish to get an auto in say, I dunno, a BMW M3 but I think w/ muscle cars its fine because there's a long and proud history of using these bulletproof torque converter trannys in musclecars since the 60s. After all drag racers used em and they are much more long lasting than manuals where you have to replace the clutch every 30 000 miles.

  • @Gerberbaby922 who cares as long as chicks dig it. chicks don't care what transmission type as long as it's a hot car. you can go and continue driving your mom's Kia Rondo.

  • it would be cool if when it remote started, it also gave a little rev....

  • let see chevy makes a 4 cylinder car that 0 to 60 do under 7 seconds

  • @7immortal7

That's future tech that will surely come.

  • a im going to steal it cause its gray

  • I'd rather have the new Mustang 5.0 A REAL car.

  • i would rather have a six speed and no remote start.

  • @reticul8this Why not have a six speed with a remote start?

We do them for people all the time. It's a bit more expensive, because you have to do a clutch bypass, but it's well worth it.

Oh I suppose it depends on State Laws over where you are too.

  • hahaha lol at the ending

  • can this be done on the manual?

  • @fighterace34 if possible what would happen if you leave it in 1st gear? o.O

  • i kinda figured dumb chevey driviers wouldnt know how to use that. ha!

  • @CrossmanM

    What's a chevey?

  • @jdebler lol! i know right! I LLLUUUVVVV it when someone tries to be sarcastic or stupid and it backfires! he he he!!!!! =D

  • @jdebler better yet whats a drivier? is that french?

  • @jdebler I dont know what a "Chevey" is but i sure know what a "Chevy" is.

  • @jdebler its the cars that make ford look like shit

  • @CrossmanM LOL Dumb Ass.

Ask more if needed bud :P

  • ooo sexy. nice car dude

  • love camaros, but my 4.3 with 280k km's sounds better starting up.....and fires up quicker...

  • Don't fuk w the Deblarrrrrrrrr.......... This was one of the EARLY 2010 Models ordered during pre-production.

  • Is this real

  • you f luky bastard . i want a camaro 2010 ! :(

  • 0:15 did the camaro fart? Lmaoo

  • yeah.. really simple.. i don't have camaro :|

  • Now, what happens if it's a stick that got left in gear and you try to remote start it in a tight parking space?

  • @corvettels9 chevy doesnt offer remote start on the manual transmission camaro....but you can get a aftermarket remote start(viper) with a bypass but still requires the car to be in neutral to start..

  • @blackstang2003 I see. I never found much use for remote start anyway. I mean, what's the difference from me standing outside and starting it to sitting in the car and starting it? lol

  • @corvettels9 well its cool to me especially if you live in a cold climate....when you wake up b4 work, then fire up the car from bed...so when you get out to it, its already warm.....but the two way remotes are the best...it sends a signal back to the remote whenthe vehicle starts

  • @blackstang2003 sounds good.

  • you only need to press the lock button once!

  • lol i agree with ya

  • Will you actually be able to drive the car without having to put the key in the ignition when you've remote started it ? cuz that wud just be awesomely convenient :D

  • "...and you have your 2010 camaro..." that simple huh haha

  • this guys a douche, "and you have your 2010 camaro." but i guess if you got it flunt it.

  • @TboneWertman - ...and if you don't gotit, make it known by ridiculing someone who does! BTW, that was when the car was new. If you really want something to hate about, you should see it now.

  • @jdebler yea i know personaly i like the challengers

  • @jdebler u tell him. lol. damn

  • U don't need to hit the lock button when u click the remote start button twice it's lock it and start it

  • LOL

  • Actually, u only have to hit the lock button once... :D

  • lol nice bro haha...

  • hahaha pendejo!!!!

  • Nice demonstration.

  • is there auto-start for manual too??

  • @soccermanda94. It does not come on all the camaro's. It only comes on the auto transmission, but you can still get a V6 version and get it but like I said it has to be auto transmission.

  • is this on all the camaro's? or do you have to order it?
