  • After reading Lone Survivor, I honestly believe that Danny Dietz should have also been awarded th Medal of Honor

  • whoever the fuck killed osmam bin laden is also a hero

  • I am thankful for all the SEALS bcause they keep this side of the hemisphere safe...all the way from Trinidad and Tobago Thank you!!!!

  • Whenever I get tired and think of quitting I think of how hard Navy SEALs bust their asses every day and it inspires me to find that extra bit of strength that I know I have inside me each time

  • @MH6M when you say rolled back into another class you mean that you get a second attempt at it?

  • @guichograpez Yes.

  • @guichograpez buddy of mine got a DUI in SQT about two months from getting pinned, got rolled back to Day 1 INDOC of BUD/S...and now they're starting to get really intense about SQT, no longer to you get the SO rating after buds or make rank, BUD/S and SQT are pretty much becoming one big phase of training.

  • I got shivers and teared up when I heard that story.

    RIP

  • arent you haddess? im subbed to you. bout to sub to your mh6m

  • not by strenght but by guile

  • gosh can they kick you out of this training if you fail at some stuff? I mean its a big deal if you make it past the hell week stuff and I think it would be difficult to get rid of someone so easily at that point

  • @neglectedlizardman If you fail SQT you may get rolled back to attend another class, but if you fuck up they could cut you loose.

  • @MH6M what would cassify under "fucking up"?

  • 5:13 , why is the ARMY pinning the trident on the SEAL?

  • Why not? He earned this right.

  • That's not even an answer to my reply. What right? NSWP should be doing the pinning, not another branch...

  • Why? Because you say so?

The SFer doing th epinning was a high ranking Army Special Operations officer. Perhaps an invited guest. Who cares....

In the oild days you were pinned noy after SQT (it was called STT at the time) but after a while on an operational platoon. Then your CO or platoon commander would be doing the pinning.

  • hahah MH6M is right. And Vofighter is too. I'm pretty sure it's a SOCOM commander.

  • Who cares hes a fellow warrior on the same team and same fight just like the rest of the operators in the community.

  • Mayby SOCOM commander.

  • Finally a spark of wisdom in the sea of ignorance and stupidity.

  • Ignorance and stupidity hide the light. hehe

  • @Vofighter what does SOCOM stand for?

  • socom is runed by the army

  • Now its run by a SEAL Admiral.

  • As corny as it sounds, Lt. Michael Murphy's story and the story of all those men in Operation Red Wing is a truly uplifting and humbling memory. Many times when I'm doing something as simple as running I will think about stopping to walk when I remember their sacrifice and start to sprint, these men are the best of us, and all that are left from the generations of old.

  • I kinda like it when the narrator says:

The potential SEALs fire lots of ammo

    Lots of ammo

    An outrageous amount of ammo

  • sooo how long is the training for a seal, like buds sqt that i mean.

also i read somwhere that you have to be under 28 to be a seal is that true

  • Under 30 to apply for BUD/S.

  • All you need is a waiver. If you're in really good shape then you can get a waiver. I was 32.

  • you can get a waiver based on your PST scores

  • They still use the Sig SOCOM tried pushing the Mark 23 on them I've heard this from SEALs. I went to Senior chiefs program bud/s 131 and one of the instructors (Mad Dog) wishs the teams would carry Glocks but they don't have a decocker which is military required.

  • decocker isn't military required. conventionals require a safety. socom is the body that requires a decocker.

  • wow its amazing how people can be so brave. Michael Murphy was one of those people.

  • LT.Murphy was a hero, along with Danny Dietz and Matthew Axelson who all gave thier life that fight. They all deserve the utmost respect and glory of hero status. God Bless

  • The Lone Survivor was probably the greatest book i have ever read.

  • It wasn't that good as people say it was.

  • @USxSEAL Dont forget about the other 8 SEALs and 8 Army Night Stalkers! To all of the Frogmen who have gone RIP

  • the guy at 2:14 at first i thaught he had no legs.

  • wow love the says!!

  • because the Mark 23 is fat block and not worth the weight thats why they switched to the 226

  • they used the SIG P226 before the MK23

  • It's worth the weight.

  • R.I.P MICHALE MURPHY.....A TRUE SEAL

  • Quick question... how come I dont see the US Navy using the Mark 23 in this vid which they paid HK to design and build or its baby brother the HK Usp Tactical?

  • Because the Mk23 did not meet the requirements of the SEAL Teams.

Come to think about it, they are not happy with the Sig 226 eighter.

  • What are they happy with then? I thought SEALs have special slack with the chain of command about choosing their gear

And I thought the Mk23 had everthing going for it except for the largish size which was fixed in the USP tactical...

    PS..

I am an internet commando so most probably I dont know what I am talking about :-)

  • Reply they do use it,just not in the vid,and well MH6M is right,in fact the SEALs are never really with anything, always lookin for something better,U could put God himself in frint of a SEAL and the SEAL would probaly say hes not good enough

  • awsome

  • Thanks m8

  • NICE video

    RIP Lt Michael Murphy
